He assisted with a previous birth. If you notice, in the footage shown, there are no leaves on the trees, indicating fall/winter/or early spring and RUFUS is in the shots. Rufus would not be there, since he's dead, with the present birth.

That baby is adorable, I hope the triplets will teach her that she doesn't need to be shy around you guys. It was bitter sweet seeing Rufus standing there for protection, what a good boy to be at Freedom's side like that, I sure miss him and so glad that there is RJ. He is more tame than Rufus, because you were able to work with him at a young age, I'd say he is a well rounded little alpaca and Charlie is doing so well too. Little Reba doesn't seem to want anything to do with people, she has always been a Mamma's girl. I'm glad to see that she is doing well with the rest of the alpacas after Dollie passed away. And you did a great job with helping with Fallan's birth, I was on the edge of my seat while watching, even though I already knew that everything was going to go well, it looked like she wasn't alive at first, I was so happy to see her get up! 😃

The baby donkey is adorable and so pretty. She's going to be a beauty when she's full grown. Thanks for showing Freedom's second birth again. I'd forgotten that you had pulled the baby. Of all the animals to have on a farm, I will never understand anyone wanting to have geese, lol. They are just mean, messy birds - at least the ones I've seen.
As a child, my grandmother would take us to a park near her home to feed the Canada Geese that lived there. I remember being terrified of them, for good reason. They would chase and snap at us whether we had food for them or not.

The new baby donkey is precious, she may become friendly in time. In northern CA, we are having dry ground like you are, So dry without much rain since March.

Have you thought about putting out some kiddie pools for the geese and ducks and for the pig? In fact the alpacas may like the pools too.
She is so adorable! With Freedom being so close to birthing, I'm surprised DeJay wasn't on baby watch! So happy Freedom didn't have any birthing issues this time or she may have lost it. Yes, its so hot here in the South to. Its almost completely unbearable! We need Rain so bad also! I'm afraid my Well is going to dry up! Preserving Water as much as possible! That's what you need is a Well to water animals and water grass for the animals! It sure would help in these Hot Summers! Stretch a waterhose out and run a sprinkler in different areas to at least keep grass growing! It sure would help with food for them and not have to worry about feed prices as much! With hardly any grass, you're going to have to give them more feed! They gotta eat! Congratulations on the New Baby! She's a Cutie for sure! God Bless.

Our temp/heat index is 102/105 here in Texas. It has been the 100’s for last several weeks. The soil is cracking and pasture is far and few blades of grass or anything else. So feeding hay and tablets. They have a huge pond and fresh water up by the feed. They go lay under the trees down pasture.
Take care this heat will be over soon and we will be having chattering teeth and slip n’ sliding. They are predicting colder than usual this winter. 🤷🏻♀️

Freedom's new baby donkey is sooo adorable!
I used to raise donkeys on my horse ranch. I never really wanted donkeys and one day my neighbor ranch brought home a jack. This jack had a love affair at the fence with my horses. He would walk the fence day and night braying at my horses so much that my neighbor finally gave him to me. This jack was amazing he was more of a dog than a donkey. We would halter and tie a lead rope on either side and my kids would ride him. That was just the start of a major addiction that ended up with about 15 animals and I do mean addiction. I understand why you have so many. It's hard to part with any of them.
Pray 4 rain. We are a desert island 23km x 11km with 550 000 people and we have nowhere 2go except d sea. We are having another heatwave this weekend😢
