Croatia, Finnland, Estonia, Netherlands I'm so here for all these fun entries that just don't care about the juries anymore Sure that means they wont win (tho I think Baby Lasanga still has a realistic shot), but who cares, just have fun and getting top 15 is great too
Cha Cha Cha's success leading to more entries that are out there musically but are still extremely competent in what they're doing is very much welcome.
@@tifak380 yeah! So many good songs out there, I agree. I could be biased but performance wise I think No Rules is best in my opinion 😂. It makes me smile and laugh at the same time.
This is BY FAR my favourite song of the year so far! It effortlessly combines the old with the new, the folk with the electro and rap. It's easily accessible to all generations AND makes use of the Estonian language, whilst telling the younger generation not to do drugs! I seriously think this could get a good televote result at Eurovision and/or also do well with the juries!
Yes, you are right, it really takes also from old- 2 men with old instruments have separate nu-folk band PUULUUP, man with glasses - Marko Veisson - is anthropologist. I red that also dance had inspiration from our islands folk.
It's fire 4 sure, my second favourite song. Tho, from what I've heard of them live and compared to the music video, it slaps much harder in the music video. So really curious how it will do at the live show.
This is the first time we sent a song i actually voted for and I couldn't be happier because I have been listening to these bands seperately for quite a few years and the combination is amazing and unpredictable
In the first thirty seconds I rolled my eyes and was like ‘oh, one of these…’ but then by the end I was actually sold. I’ve never heard anything like this, and that’s what’ I’m looking for. The studio version gives a more polished impression… if they can get closer to that in performance by May, it could be a smash
I was on the crowd of Eesti Laul this night (I saw myself on TV replay haha 😂), coming from France to see all performances in Estonia! And this song my god it was exceptional, everyone was singing and having a good time. Nobody was disappointed with their brilliant performance, which really drew the crowd in 👏🏻💖 Other performances were fabulous, I'll be back for Eesti Laul 2025 100%! 💋
I agree, tbh it feels like if you have hot guys on stage or hot women on stage performing and dancing the juries will be all in for it and vote for them, but if you have people being entertaining and having fun they'll be completely against it because they don't want them to ruin the image of eurovision. When i think yea we can have different opinions but all songs qualified for a reason, so i think no matter what song wins we should still be happy for the country. Yeah I'll have mixed feelings if its another ballad... That's just my opinion, if the same countries keep winning because the juries don't want any new winners then well there's nothing we can do. But as televoters we shouldn't be afraid of expressing who we want to win. Yes people will be like why are you voting for them? When Eurovision is there for fun, like there's no need to be too critical about the songs. We can say we don't like it, or it's not my taste but hating on the artist's isn't the way to solve things. Eurovision isn't a singing contest but song contest.
2 men who play national instruments - they have separate band PUULUUP, which they call nu-folk band (one man is anthropologist), rest of then have separate band - 5 MIINUST, they united here.
I suspect some VERY interesting televote patterns this year. No one can deny that La Noia is taking the continent by storm in an irresistible dance craze sense. I mean there have been some LatinAMerican vibes before, but never anything as infectious as a full-blown CUmbia. Mix that with the wildness of Basilicata/Campania (and a bit of South Balkan flavor) and it's just insane. I do expect VIIS-Minust (thats 5 in Estonian; youre welcome peeps) to follow the Kaarija effect quite well.
I like this! From first when the Estonian entries were published, I've had my fingers crossed for this to be chosen. It's so entertaining and catchy! This will certainly qualify, and then proceed to finals to eat Finnish entry's votes, but what can you do? Even though I'm Finnish I actually might prefer this to win95. I really like No rules too, but this is just as fun and party but more original. Although win95 performance was more out there... hard to say! I hope both slay!
When updating my top, I wasn't sure where to put this. I'm not sure what to think of it. But I do like it and pretty much agree with everything that was said about it in this video. (I do also want sad, serious songs at Eurovision too!)
Hi Noosh 1o1 this is my beautiful comment is this one is a great biggest party disco hit and 5 miinust won the final performance and came top 1 and basically I’m giving you the news about this instrument and it’s called talharpa the Estonian instrument and for international countries or having this party hit in Estonian or around the world or probably in the clubs in Estonian and this is what I just found out from Geoff and I’m a great fan of Noosh 101 and I really love and I like you so this song is a massive party pop hit Eurovision 2024
This is funny and is definitely gonna qualify. But I don't know, whether this would be the televote bait song, which would fare much better with the juries in the final, just like Austria and Australia did last year. Given the fact that we might end up having 15 or more televote bait entries this year, many of which might end up ranking 11th to 15th in many countries (+mostly in 6th to 10th places, if given points), especially with a rather bad spot in the running order.
Persinally I am devstated😢 My winner was Ollie. Can't believe he again ended up on the second place😢 The chosen song is still pretty good. Reminds me of Moldova 2022. People will vote for it for sure. Still Ollie...... 💔
7:15 I actually disagree, I think "No rules" is much more divisive than this, and this ought to win some jury favor too by being a contemporary radio hit under all the fun.
I kinda like this, even started to love it in a way, but I'm baffled why does everyone have to pit this against Finland?! The entries are quite different, even though both have humour, and of these two, I do think Finland is the most accessible to more people. (Though I know most Eurofans hate the Finnish entry atm, which is their problem, and in no way reflects how it will do in May - *IF* it will be the one to go, as that's a big if right now.) All this nonsense talk has now lessened my liking for this entry, sadly.
After 11 years Estonia sending an Estonian song. I didn't like the song I prefered Ollie but Estonia should try own language too. We'll see what happen in May 😊
Yes I agree, but she was talking about televoters, and they don't necessarily go for 'better songs'. With juries it's hard to say how they'll rate this song🤔
The fact this won't beat Bridges position makes me sad - i hated thar Bridges did better than Hope. I just found Bridges soooo booooring. I really hope this does do better than Finland - it should do but when has the world ever been fair.

With all the craziness from Suomi this year, this is blurring right into it and erasing the Gulf of Finland in my mind LOL
It's kinda crazy to think that this is the country that brought us Bridges last year
Last 3 Estonian language songs: Randajad, Kuula, Et Uus Saaks Alguse. THis one is a rather marked contrast, to say the least! LOL 😆
Wow, first time seeing this! Michael Stevens from Vsauce really surprised me with this performance
With Finland and Estonia, EV just became more...EV xD.

I feel the vibe of Moldova 2022, I like it🫠
True, sounds kinda similar to that and also the dance is reminding me of the roop
Exactly!!
My thoughts exactly! I also get a Lithuania 2006, but that's only because of the suits 🤣
great contenders for winning this year's televote
