Build a Drill Press Table for PBD 40 / DIY

- I enjoy using the drill press of the Bosch Company called PBD 40.
It is an attractive product with a circular handle.
The bottom plate was made of aluminum, so it looked pretty but it was a little uncomfortable.
So I upgraded the PBD 40.
The table was enlarged and other equipment could be installed.
If you use this drill press, I think it's something to consider at least once.
Recently, I continue to focus on upgrading the drill press.
In the next video, I'm planning to make a beautiful dust collection equipment using acrylic for this work.
Please keep an interested eye on how this product evolves.
Thank you.

Very nicely made, but if you fasten parts with screws, washers should be placed under the nuts
For a highly-skilled chap with a truly magnificent workshop filled with countless state-of-the-art tools and up-to-date equipment, I couldn't help smiling when I saw that funny little toffee hammer.😊
I also have the Bosch PBD 40 and I love it. The only frustration, for me, is the short distance between the pillar and the drill bit. This limits its use in drilling far into a workpiece.
You’ve out done yourself on this one it’s a beautiful design I love the storage area for your replacement plates and those drawer pulls are great. I’m looking forward to part two
Man, this is what i needed for my bosch 40 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Wow you are amazing the attention to detail is something else and your craftsmanship is amazing
I'm still working hard on the details. Thank you for your kind words!
Wow! It really looks great!!! Very nice job! Can’t wait to see the next video!
Brilliant, as ever very inspiring, especially now as I am about to start fitting out my newly extended workshop
It is a very happy experience to hear that I have given someone a little inspiration and hint. Thank you very much. I will support and encourage you to create a wonderful workshop.
Really wish these drills were more common in the US
This guys workshop is worth 3 times what my house is worth.
Wow absolutely amazing as always.great job amazing idea. Can’t wait to see what you do next.
The next video is also about a new type of dust collection method, so I think you'll find it interesting. Thank you for your continued support.
You sure think outside the box.
Yes. I will be happy to borrow your idea once again.
Good job designing it sir
If my work can be a small hint for your work, I would be very happy. thank you!
Hello, very good 😮😮, salutations de Suisse 🇨🇭, à bientôt 😊😊
lovely build.. I have this drill press and love it.. I want to make something similar.. I was thinking of making the replaceable plates rectangle that you can slide along.. as it seems a fair bit of effort to cut a plate for it to only be useful once (from a tear out purpose etc)
Very nice. I wish they sold the PBD 40 in the USA.
I’ve had this drill for over 2yrs now and it’s been a great bit of kit apart from one of the threads on the locking height handles failing so replaced with a better quality one.
It's been a while since you used it? It seems like a product that has its own pros and cons. I'm still using both of them well, but I think I need to change the drill chuck to a stronger one. thank you
Think you’d have to be a millionaire to afford that equipment
Nice work.
Thanks for your interest!!!
Unbelievable 🤩
We can feel a sense of kinship and fellowship just by having the same machine. It's our duty and pleasure to share how to upgrade those machines. thank you
Eccellente, com'è il tuo solito. CHAPEAU

If I only had the room :-) my drill is stored under the bench when not in use due to constraints.
The question is, do you want it? Or maybe not. Seeing that you're interested in my videos, I think you'll want to create your own workshop. I guarantee that if you continue to pay attention, one day you will have a much better and more beautiful workshop than mine. I will wholeheartedly support you. thank you!
Great idea, would love to build this for my pbd40, where do you buy the Nice drawerhandels that pop out, they are really cool👏🏻👍🏻
But you've already got a drill press. I thought the purpose of the PBD 40 was to have a portable drill press.
The drill press I mainly use is old, so I often use the PBD40 for precise work. As you said, I can also use it as a portable. Thank you!
great work. could I perhaps get the dimensions of the worktop?
I have the same drill, I wish it had a reverse for tapping, and I've never used that clamp that comes with it 😂
I am also very disappointed that there is no tapping function. And, if you try the clamp, you will be very satisfied. This is a well-made part. thank you!
@@Kynosys_ perhaps a nice video making a reverse option for the motor.
Very good suggestion. I want to tear off the drill body right now. Reverse rotation of the motor to install the tapping function. Let's research it. thank you!
@@Kynosys_ hope it's just reversing polarity
Very nice indeed. Do you have plans available for this design.
I usually work with rough sketches. However, there are many people who want drawings, so I am planning to draw drawings through reverse engineering when I have time. Please refer to the channel. thank you!
Nice one. How do you have make you automatic opening and closing drawer (at 13:41)
any chance you'd have plans for this?
What is the chamfer tool? What is to bit you used to ream the holes?
MERHABA MAKİNEYİ AÇTIKTAN BİR SÜRE SONRA DURUYOR ÇÖZÜMÜ NEDİR
This is one of the features and advantages of this drill. This is also for safety reasons. When drilling, this gives you ample time to turn on the drill with your left hand and then hold the wood with that left hand again. Make good use of it. thank you!
Your router table needs an dust extraction! (Hole or table end collector)
You are right. Next time, I am planning a router dust collection system. The space where the router table is currently located is entirely ventilated, so I'm still putting it off. thank you!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻
Thanks for your praise!🫡🫡🫡
Keep up the videos man, you’re an inspiration for my channel. 🥲
Thank you for your kind words. I will also enjoy your works a lot.

Thanks for your interest!!!
wouww. let me guess you are not married. huh?
@@3xantrik You have a point. Many people seem to think that I am married to a tool. In reality, surprisingly, I raised three children. I think some people will be surprised.
@@Kynosys_ congrats, The way you give effort and time to your job makes me think that way, in a funny way of course. Even your drawers are motorised drove me think "this guy is not married and bury his time and ambition to his woodworking shop." :) I have some tools just lack of space to work with. unfortunately I live in a city center the buildings are stick to eachother and multiple floor makes woodworking almost impossible. hope one day I will get a decent space for it. I will be around here, you got a subs. Thanks.
@@3xantrik Thank you for your kind words. If you are someone like yourself with interest, passion, and a warm heart, you will have a wonderful workplace of your own. I sincerely hope that time comes sooner.
How to remove the wooden chips provided during drilling processes from the top panel?
The next video is about adding a new type of dust collection equipment. To blow out the wood chips, a long, single-shaped groove was made on the back. thank you!
Bravo
What you said is correct.
However, some people say, "Having a child means my personal time will decrease."
I'm very curious how you would respond. I have three children, but I get endless joy from them. I love all tools and get great joy from changing them. thank you!
