Love the classic masculine feel to this. Perfect choice of the chairs. The warm leather and the contrast of the rug really sets this off. Great job as always.
really like the tall panel walls with the sconces...very clubby. Chairs are killer. I would never leave this room, other than to the kitchen or to make a head call.
Something I learned about paint tones and light temp. If you have a cool toned paint color and warm lighting, it will tint green. If you have warm paint and cool lighting, it will tint green. Match your paint tone to your lighting temp. It will look much better in the evening. Your walls will thank you.
As a woman who doesn’t drink… that room is stunning, I really like it. I’d probably replace the bar and whiskey with antique science, printing, cartography, astronomy, and/ or math equipment, maybe some antique empty bottles of whiskey near the medical equipment. But it’s a fabulous room. Love the vibe.
My go to black is Behr’s Carbon black. I’ve used it in high gloss and matte. It’s really rich and true. I do like Tricorn. But I’ve never used it in a space.
It's very neutral and a deep black. The images we're showing have a slight warm tint to them because of the light, BUT the natural state of the paint color is a true-black. It will work in a room with windows! You can expect the ambience of the room to change from day to night as the light dims. From bold & classic during the day light to dark and moody in the evening.

Those chairs look amazing, but also amazingly uncomfortable. Especially for someone like me at 6'7". Love the white oak--absolutely love it love it

Now this one I really like! Wow! For the chairs, could wingback chairs work? Maybe in suede or leather.
Good job!
Certainly!

Is Tricorn is a warm black or cool?
And can it be used
In a room(s) with lots of windows?
