who could believe daryl was 64 at the time of this performance? he still looks as good to me as he did when i saw him and oates back in 1985. one of the best singer/songwriters ever!
Well I have a completely different story first of all Darrell lost his precious had some children a son he could have given up right there and then when he saw his wife in the bathroom 0 could have went into a deep deep deep depression Daryl Hall picked himself up and is only going to put his mind on music until it's time to give it up I think he's very direct and he can be funny very highly good qualities about him Eli said his house to friends need is help a house very happy
I sorry somebody famous was asking Darrell about some of his life and he offered him what perils that was a cigarette and he said yeah other person says no it's weed and I he hates Daryl says get away those things scare me now he doesn't know if he smoked a little bit of weed when he was very young but never touched it again he does strange and who doesn't
Now I'm pretty upset not you trying to tell me that him being old now not seen his picture now and I did he's getting old and it's showing up consider nearly broke down from crying because he looks so sad and no no happy smile and he tried to dance saying just didn't seem like that'll Dallas to be a happy Young singer looking pretty unhappy
I think he smoke pot when he was young he admits that but anything else would scare him he said so he didn't he didn't do any drugs in that and when he got old and nothing he has has also doesn't everybody else drink
Thanks for posting this. I watched this show live on the evening of 07/04/2012, and was just blown away, especially by this tune, which was the last song of the night. I had wished then that I recorded it...and now, here I find it! Thank you! There's just something about Philadelphia's music icons that put them in a class by themselves, and Daryl Hall is a prime example. Unreal.
No problem! What still irks me is I had the full 6ABC - VERY VERY rainy July 4th Hall AND Oates performance on here from 2007. It was on here for well over a year and suddenly TH-cam removed it, then totally shut down my account. 😣 The original video was on my old WIndows PC that died a months before that so I lost that file.
He can be drunk anytime he wants to 'n I'd still watch, listen 'n enjoy! Just hoping it's NOT a daily thing, which f/ALL the vids, concerts + LFDH hv seen; DON'T feel it is! 🛐 Love him AND John, too. The underrated 1. Not 2 me tho! They'd NOT be the best selling DUO of ALL time without J♥️hn!
This is so substandard of my memories of Mr. Hall. Maybe he was drunk. Had to shut it down. Waisted performance with the best live crew in tha biz with the roots.:(
What about 3:27 LOL. Poor guy just can't hit those notes anymore. But the song still sounds great. Daryl Hall in his 60s is still a way better singer than me in my 20s haha
I went to this concert...I think that may have been the most fun I have had in a loooooong time
I can go for this over and over!
Good to see this people enjoying the concert and dancing with every song of Daryl...no cell phones..that's how it should be in all concerts
A guy from Philly playing at home,,,,, would have loved to have been there!!!!--Daryl Hall is an American treasure---Philly dude,,,,
Him and Kevin Bacon and a host of others I'm sure.

You nailed it - great job. What a great version of this song. Thanks for putting it up here.
You know Hall is dope when the News Anchors bust out the Robot!! 🤣👍🏾

Wow he has really lost his voice...I thought someone was choking his azz in the beginning of the session...LOL
John Starks over the time his voice has seem deteoriate..but he's trying to sing it in the same key.. but his voice is still impeccable.
John Starks he still sounds great.
I enjoyed this performance!

It would have been amazing to have a De La cameo in the middle. Next time.

Did Daryl consume the spirit of Al Green?
