If I could play TS!Underswap, I’d choose the Compassion Route. (I don’t have a PC that can run .EXE files or download games from online sources around the web…)
This battle is ALMOST the same as the one in UT, but the only difference is that you can expand your actions when talking to asgore. You can also defeat him by fighting until the end and leave him with low HP and then spare him.
i guess that mirrors how it is in undertale where Asgore is also defeated by getting him low and then having the option to spare. Makes me wonder if Queen Toriel will also mirror her undertale fight and actually die if you attack her, unlike the original Asgore fight.

The use of Small Shock with Asgore in TS!Underswap is an absolute master-class of including leitmotifs to improve tracks. It's literally only two notes, but the fact that it's used as a small addition for two REALLY GOOD moments where Asgore's motives and emotional state are put on display is just testament how far you can go with a part of the soundtrack that is literally just two notes.
Love how you guys handled his boss fight: the lead-up, the epic melancholic boss music for the grand tragedy of two people who WANT to stay together and REALLY don't want to fight (or in Genocide, two broken bitter people clashing in the midst of a tragedy with neither willing to give up), all the different outcomes that go from bitter to bittersweet, every part of it was so memorable and showcased what a big good-hearted guy Asgore is to make it even more emotional. Truly the Kingest of Dads.
My first time experiencing UT was throgh youtube gameplays which I can tell you it doesn't strike you the same as by playing it yourself so when playing through this blind (In particular the genocide version and reading his diary which actually made me tear up a little) it was like I finally got to have that experience so many years later, masterful work.

Asgore, no matter what Route you're on, gets so emotional here. He doesn't want you to leave, he wants you to have a live a good life, and, in Ruthless Route, wants you to stop killing. He just wants peace with humanity.
This battle made me feel horrible for Chara because the game forces you make them leave and fight Asgore. Regardless of if you spare or kill him, it's not going to make poor Chara happy.
This feels like fighting Asgore on a volcano,I think there's something in the rhythm pattern that makes me think of a hot place,which is accurate to his fire magic

oh i didn't know that. when i discovered you could talk to him and spare him i thought you couldn't spare him if you just attacked.

That last one applies only on ruthless, in neutral you just kill him like Toriel
