This video really helped me out. A couple of years ago, I wanted to buy myself a smartphone, and I was on a slim budget, and I wanted a Samsung because of the brand name. But at that time, the A series equivalent of the Redmi Note 11 had a 720p LCD display, which was a big downside for me. So I opted for the Redmi. And aside from some minor glitches that occur very infrequently, this phone has been great to use even now, 2 years down the road.
Now, I want to buy my mom a phone and I'm again torn between Samsung and Redmi. This time, at least the Samsung actually has a good display, but I think that ultimately, I'll have to go with the Redmi again, especially after seeing your review.
I'm hoping to be able to upgrade my mom's phone again a few years down the road, but for now, I think she'll be more than happy with the Redmi.
    Very nice video man.

I would have loved that Samsung but I'm getting the Redmi mainly because of the in-display fingerprint and a free 33w charger. I'll take the slower processor this time around because I've waited so long for a Redmi Note with in-display fingerprint. They pulled of the perfect manipulation here 😂 plus with the notch again and no stereo speakers on the Samsung, the mighty G99 won't win this fight by itself. I love how Samsung is really trying to shift their line-ups up in terms of performance but i think hardware features have to win this round.

Even on paper Note 13 has a higher screen to body ratio with a higher refresh rate (90hz vs 120hz) with 1800 nits display, 33W fast charging than 25W and 108MP cam. The shop I was looking at quoted me 6/128 A15 for $160 while Note 13 8/256 for $190. And remember Note 13 comes with the charging brick (33W PD) and a case in the box while I hav to get a 25W charger separately for like $30. At this point it's a no brainer

I have used both. The a15 is better than the redmi. Plus the a15 comes with 4 years of os update(i don't think you guys really understand how good this is), It has a better ram optimization as well. Better cameras, better screen. The screen on the a15 is just like the screen on the s21 and s22(really amazing, you'd think the phone cost 600k). While the screen on the note 13 is really poor. It is an amoled but when you compare it to this a15, It looks like nothing but an lcd screen. Really poor. Also the 90hz on the a15 is the same as fast as the 120hz on the redmi. There is absolutely nothing you could say the redmi has over the a15(maybe better speakers). Don't just watch yt videos and read specs, try using them yourself and you'd see who's boss. There is absolutely no phone better around the price segment of(300k or less) than the a15. Do NOT get the 4gb ram though, get the 6 or 8.

For pricing, these devices are close. Software support for the Samsung beats whatever the Redmi has. I don't know what the naming of the device means for Redmi but calling it the "Note 13" to me, actually feels like trying to pass off this device being more than what it is. And it certainly is nothing compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note devices.
The A15 on the other hand does not pretend to be what it is not, and that's a big difference to me.

I was just at the Mobile store because I need a tertiary phone with dual sim for my other sim cards. I am currently using iPhone 15 Pro Max and my old iPhone XS. My 15 Pro Max has my personal post paid sim, my XS has my work prepaid SIM, I have two more SIMs, my back up internet SIM (I need a back up internet SIM because I am living overseas and Internet is very important for me because I am Facetiming with my family back home) the other is my SIM from my home country that needs to always be active because it's registered with my bank back home, with my professional licenses, my online wallet and for all other important matters. And when I keep switching the SIM cards in my XS, it sometimes gets tiring just to make sure they don't get deactivated.
These two phones were the ones I was choosing between earlier. But I decided to go with the Redmi because it has more advantages compared to Samsung A15.

Even if you have a superior hardware or a better performance, without updates it's as good as dead. Believe me, I've been using Xiaomi for the past 8 years and buying new phones every 2, 3 years. redmi clearly win here except the camera and cpu catagory . It's also less price than samsung. clearly redmi note 13 is value for money. I have only 2 problem with my redmi note 13 phone. 1st one is its selfie camera is too bad ( but main camera is great ) . second one is it gets hot when I use ii in maximum brightness in sunlight
