Hi there Trishna. Terry here from the UK. Diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis 5 years ago & told I'd had it for 10 years already. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. MS gets on my nerves. I keep threatening to upload an MS related video, but MS has brought me nothing but grief. Take care out there & enjoy life.
Hi Terry, Lovely to hear from you and I did have a bit of a chuckle because I don't know if it was intentional or not but your phrasing "MS gets on my nerves" is SO apt because it's literal! If you want to upload an MS related video then go for it - the great thing about a personal vlog is there's no right or wrong. I only say to people that if they want to vlog then be honest - if MS has brought you nothing but grief then say that. It's the only way people will understand that long term health conditions affect people in different ways and there's no right or wrong way of coping, there's just our own unique "journeys." If people don't like what you have to say, they'll switch off (or maybe make a comment but then you can decide if you want to ignore it or not!?) Sometimes I worry that my videos are too positive, but that's the way I am so if that's not what someone likes to hear then I don't mind if they switch off. Everyone has their own ways of dealing with things! If you ever need any signposting to support/services then do drop me a line - I'm based in the UK too so i have quite a lot of knowledge to share! Very best wishes, Trishna
I'm already in the MS system. I've been through the ropes, had all my savings stolen & survived the suicidal medications. MS is a walk in the park, compared to reality & even that's not safe. I frequent the forums & all that jazz. I'm quite knowledgeable about MS, with lot's of first hand experiences. The experts avoid me now, I'm beyond their help & been asked to write a book on alternate treatments. You wouldn't believe what I trial. From Baking Soda, Apple Cider Vinegar, B6, B12 & CBD. The whole 9 yards. My MS is quite bad & folks seem to see an easy target. Little do they know. I'll keep checking in on your progress. Take care out there & maybe one day, I'll bump into you. Thanks for sharing your journey.
