So I have a situation and I have the same fortigate 40f you do and basically a client called us in to check it out and configure some privileges of course they don't have the old credentials we went ahead and try to reset it from the reset button on the front but even afterwards it seems like we can't access the browser-based portal to actually log in using the standard Port 1 through 4. I do not have a console cable with me to try another option. It seems like it's giving out DHCP and even internet actually if the wan is connected. But I cannot access the browser portal at 192.168. 1. 99. So I was curious if either you have seen these not reset successfully or if I'm missing something blatantly obvious...?

How to connect HP Deskjet 3050 J610 printer to Fortigate FortiWiFi 40F router using WPS?
Is the Fortinet 40F good enough for a small office of 10 employees?
More then enough unless u need 1Gig internet transfers
yes it is more effective and comprehensive firewall for the small businesses
