This town is so beautiful, it's stunning. A small town but looks rich. Looks like a town in the amalfi coast. Every turn you make the alleys are beautiful. Those purple wall flowers are beautiful. What a difference it makes to film in late afternoon then you move to dusk. A wedding in town and the women wore their best. I plan to watch video again tomorrow. It once in a while you see such a stunning tour like this in central Italy. Torre di Palme is special, see the panoramas and the restaurants. They have the Ukrainian flags also, that's awesome. Thanks Riccardo for this special tour.
Dear Esther, I was sure you would have enjoyed this, knowing your preference for the crowdy towns, but also for the scenic ones. I wanted to start filming even these weekends but the weather here has been unfortunately quite bad (and of course in the north it was a distaster and it's all pretty sad... LUOGO SPLENDIDO del pianeta Terra, mentre ruota nella sua orbita attorno al Sole e si sposta nella Via Lattea. Ancora, l'incantevole mare Adriatico. Ho sentito un forte desiderio di scuotore le campane di bronzo della chiesa di Torre di Palme. Paesaggio imponente. Buone strade. Cicale. Bel tempo, magnifiche terazze, bella atmosfera estiva. I mattoni puliti, congiunzione di pietra e fiore. La pietra, con il suo massiccio senso di eterna permanenza. Gloriosa bouganville. Ciottoli colorati sul pavimento, che sembrano mosaici bizantini. Fino a quando la luce della sera comincia a tingere d'oro il borgo medievale. E la luna comincia a prendere forma nell'azzurro sempre più basso del cielo. Il mio caro Juan è tornato e sono qui, mi trovo qui, a leggere come sempre il suo commento con trepidazione e curiosità. E come sempre rimango stupito dalla poesia che riesce ad uscire dalla sua tastiera. E' incredibile Juan come riesci a catturare l'anima di un posto descrivendolo a modo tuo. Leggendo quanto scrivi sembra quasi di ripercorrere tutti i minuti del video. E' un po' come quando si legge un libro, ci si innamora e si immagina leggendolo, ma poi esce un film sulla basa di quel libro ed a volte si rimane interdetti a vedere le differenze di come uno si immaginava la storia, proiettata nello schermo.
