- Our home state! We looked all over Eastern Idaho for a river that wasn't too blown out and we finally found a good one. Luckily we know the waters in our state fairly well so we managed to quite a few Yellowstone Cutties. These fish are pretty amazing and we hope you get a chance to catch one and hopefully help preserve them!
This is episode 13 of 18 of the Western Native Trout Challenge.

"You need to cut back dude!" Lol- your enthusiasm is infectious.
Thanks for the great edit.
We had a lot of fun making this one thanks for checking it out!
Osprey took my hooked whitefish on the Madison a few years ago. Later while floating I picked some trash from the river- a cold MT IPA in a koozie- good trade, Osprey!
Osprey karma
You guys are living well! That's for sure! Looks so damn fun! 🏆
Fun trip and the Tenkara rods were perfect on that water!
Absolutely so fun on small water!
Love your videos, you guys have such fun fishing. Looking forward to the next one.
Glad you like them! Fishing really is a lot of fun!
"Chocalaty and blown out...Taco Bell has entered the chat..
hahaha
Thanks for talking about which rod and gear to use!
Trying to do more of that. Sometimes I think we just get caught up trying to catch fish that we forget to give those little details like that!
Just got my Sawtooth. Haven't caught anything yet, but it's fun!
Good luck!
Blown out for sure! Rough summer 🌞 the Ogden has been ok off and on..
Summer definitely took a little while to fully turn on but the fishing has been so good the last few weeks!
Passing cup for new windshield...
Hahaha yes!
Gear question: What are you guys wearing on your feet? I'm in shorts with my Tenkara much of the year but sometimes these Idaho rivers are rough on my feet with sandals. Thanks for the killer content!
We've tried a lot of different setups. Tuna will still sometimes wear sandals, he has this pair of 510 water shoes that he has been wearing lately and in this video that he really likes with socks. I can't do sandals it beats my feet up too much so my go to has been a pair of lightweight wading boots with a pair of neoprene wading socks underneath and that has been so good.
Another great video! You guys look like you’re really having a good time and thats what tenkara does for me too. One question, do you guys still have a shop in Driggs? I’m in Poky, need to go check it out if you do, thx for the video!
Ya its hard to have a bad time when you are fishing good water! We don't have a walk in shop anymore unfortunately. Maybe someday we will do that again though, thanks for watching!
Catch and release life: land monster fish; eat vegetarian dinner.
hahaha good point! we definitely eat fish on these trips sometimes but only if its non native or invasive. these yellowstone cutthroat are off limits!
Glad to see your hook sets are perfect and the releasing of the fish was nice and safe! keeping the nature alive and healthy is most important! @@tenkararodco
