I just want to say this you need 500 subs and 3mill views are for MEMBERSHIPS NOT monetized, for monetized you need 1k subs and 10m views in shorts/4k hours of long-form (i think its important)
I think YT Shorts are a great way of making people aware of your long-form content. I sometimes scroll through Shorts (not too often, I like to have a little slower pace) but I discovered e.g. Mogswamp through his Shorts videos and then the little links at the bottom of the video (as a replacement to clickable links in the comments) got me to his long-form videos and now I regularly watch him. And whenever I feel like my channel is probably alright to watch (it is not at all right now) I'll also try it with clips from my main videos on Shorts to grow my audience.
When I saw the clip in the beginning of the video, where you said the "SC" in your name stands for "SurvivalCraft" I thought you meant the block game under that same name. But when I got to the context of that clip I realized you probably only meant a Minecraft server by that and not the game SurvivalCraft…
