I was lucky enough to spend many hours in Mike's workshop. To see these cars being built was engineering at it's finest. He made virtually everrything from the tubular space frame....wish bones....seat frames....dash....pedal box....manifolds etc. The engines were blue print built with many tweaks. Mike was an authority on V8s. TVR used him as did a few others. Yes I sound like I am gushing but engineers like Mike are few and these cars are the finest examples available. They differed from the rest as many used donor chassis etc. A Magnum 427 was a hand built car in the shape of a Cobra. Thanks for sharing this brought back good memories.
