I met Patrice in Ibiza back in 2018. He was about to play his Debut set at Circoloco. I saw him sneak from the main room Dj booth to grab a drink just before his set. I managed to stop him and just thank him for his amazing music. He had so much time for me even in the incredibly busy and sweatiness of Circo minutes before his set. What a bloke. Yeah agree mate......I saw him at ADE 4 years ago....and my mate was a massive fan and all tickets had been given out on concession by him and yet he went to the organisers and arranged another 2 for us....not many people do that so yeah a diamond indeed
Just saw Patrice in Tulum a couple weeks ago. I was supposed to fly back to USA on Sunday, then i found out Patrice was playing the beach club of my hotel on Sunday night. I then cancelled my flight. I ended up seeing him backstage and told him that, then he gave me a big hug haha. Top class dude

I honestly can't see myself dancing to this music. Am I missing something? It's more like ambient music from the 90's. He's some mixer but I find it too sedate. My honest opinion not trying to stir anyone up here.
I think you may be missing the felt aspect of this music. That is the bass in the chest. I get your feeling that the vibe is subdued. And I agree. In an outdoor festival sound system where just the kick is enough to put a smile on your face this is perfect dance music. But time and place. The funny thing is based on the artists I know in progressive house and melodic techno there is a lot chiller stuff than this people dance to... like Recondite, etc. But ya, it does sound a bit like 90s ambient music with a kick drum ;). Love 90s ambient.
