Better late than never, this is a video from the weekend before the EWS at Innerleithen.
I was joined by Laura and Tam for this one, which was really cool and helpful, as they're knowledge of the Golfie far out weighs my own.
As a result, I ended up riding a whole load of new and lesser hit trails, which was quite refreshing.

Should have stated in the video that this is an older video, and that I’ve already done the ews race.
Finished mid pack in my class.
If your in the right mood, there is a song or a jig played by the wheels, as if created by the path like it were Vynal, its a great rhythym amplified by the hollow tyres.. Cahse

The Golfie was definitely some of the best trails I rode in Scotland
It can get a bit samey after a while, but there’s no denying the quality.

Poor gearbox 🥲 I wasn’t a big fan of the Del Sol, but as time goes by, I would love to see one on the road again as these old Honda’s are so rare.

That "jump" on the top section of NYNY, is the nastiest most kicky kicker ever...I've nearly died on that so many times.
I cannot jump for shit, but can't help feeling that's it's poorly built for the speed you carry on that section and surely it should be a much flatter lip. Cannot figure out why it's not sorted by the Trail Association.
I actually hate it..
It is a bit on the short side, but I guess it was better formed at the when it was made. It seems that there’s been a bit of deterioration up there.
