I'm just a young Manx fella who's got 76 T140v a year and a half ago and your videos have taught me so much to get it back on the road, which it is and I credit it mostly to your videos!! 👍 When this covid crap is all done with and the IOM TT or MGP is back on if you make the trip, it would be great to go for a ride with you! Thank you very much for your very detailed video. I rebuild a 71 Tiger. Anytime I needed help to figuring out how things go back together I would find the answer in one of your videos. A couple a times I even found out that I made a mistake with out knowing it and your videos showed me the right way. Thanks again and keep the rubber side down.

I love the look of those carbs, I have a T140E and am finding it hard to get replacement carbs. I love the look of the ones in the photo but can I fit to my Triumph and what are they?
Always such a pleasure watching you work, John. All I will say though is, remember the last time you used loctite on that sprocket nut? Or was that the main shaft nut? I think your heart nearly exploded out of your chest when you tried to undo it and you swore you’d never use it again! So next time it comes off have a six foot extension on the breaker bar eh? Haha. Still it’ll not work it’s way off on a run for sure. I’ll be in touch in the next week or so. All the best mate.
spoke to John on the phone about 2-3 weeks back. said he is burying his head in the sand so to speak till all this covid crap is over and done with. making plans to pop back up there later in the year to drink beer and munch on chicken parmo....
A up pal, just wondered if I could contact you in some way, just done up my 1973 T120v and having problems with it, starts, runs gets to 4k on the revs and doesn't want to go any more, just splutters etc, seems to be a fuel issue, when you put the choke on whilst running it gets better but only a little. the russians made a type of airplane/flying boat called the caspian sea monster. this type of vessel? is called a lun. and he is mad for them....john is a good mate of mine. we have got ourselves rat arsed on many a time....

Sadly John died last month. I enjoyed his videos immensely and he remains an inspiration to many people across the world. RIP John ("lunmad").

Hi lunmad I have a t140e top end rebuild but it still smoking only when idle in sidestand if center stand or running no smoke. Please help.

You could have marked the chain up with some TIPEX to save you from counting.
