In the books, Daenerys sleeps with Daario and when she “finishes”. The books mentions how drogon roared at the same time she did in ecstasy so it does answer that dragons do feel EVERYTHING. Their rider feels
Key Component: Cole is very intentionally emotionally flawed and very intentionally unlikeable. Things that Mary Sues only accomplish via the accident of bad writing as opposed to intentional writing. Despite Cole's lofty heights, we are not meant to admire him or want to be him. Mary Sues are unironically meant to be idealized and admired. The fact that this usually fails is merely another strike against them.
@@CubanWriter A Mary Sue is a character that the writers like but the audience doesn’t. If you intentionally write a character to be a heel, they can’t be a Mary Sue. The definition of a Mary Sue simply being a character with a bunch of talents is flawed. People SAY that so that their vibe based criticism can sounds like it has merits. Why is Rey Skywalker a “Mary Sue” but not Lara Croft or Black Widow or Princess Leia or plenty of other ultra competent female action heroes? Vibes. The answer is vibes. There are script issues I could point out (the Kylo vs Rey fight should have been held for sequels). But the key issue is vibes.
I disagree with Alteori on her interpretation of the new King's Guard not respecting Cristin from what happens later in the episode, it's clear that Aegon appointed his 'friends' from the previous episode to the King's Guard and they lack the professionalism to be alert on the job I also think that the disorder we see is to emphasize Otto's importance in running the day-to-day
Criston is kind of a broken himbo, tho. He's a good fighter, but that's about the only thing he got going for him. He was banging the Dowager Queen when the crown prince was assassinated and the way he deals with it is by shitting all over one of his underlings and sending him to a certain (and very un-knightly) death. Sure, the new Kingsguard knights are useless cronies, but it's not like Criston is Galahad himself.
Exactly! They dont respect Clitson because they are the King's friends, and not taking their duty seriously. One of them should be a great fighter, the Rayne dude, but the other dude probably cant fight as well as Criston.
But I don't think he sent him to Dragonstone for that. It's the first part of the dialogue where he projects his sins onto Arryk. The assassin mission is to atone for guilt in the show and for simple pragmatism in the book. And honestly the job of the King's guard is to obey the King. Watching men burn alive during Aerys' reign wasn't honorable or chivalrous either, but their dury weren't being honorable. @@minnumseerrund
Did you notice the murderous look on Aemonds face? Hes not letting it go this time. I think he has finally decided to make whatever move hes going to make. We will see fir sure next episode.
Well if you have read the books, you can guess that when he attacks Rhaenys next episode he quite intentionally catches Aegon in the crossfire. (In the books he straight up landed Vhagar on both of them)
He’s svelte as fuck no doubt. I was gobsmacked to hear that people were body shaming him online, like what??? He’s SUPPOSED TO BE EXTREMELY PALE AND LEANLY MUSCLED. 10/10 on his part. The book says “when [Aemond] was born, he was half the size of his elder brother, but twice as fierce.” He’s supposed to take after Daemon, lean and lethal, whereas Aegon takes more after Viserys in appearance, particularly down to the wigs and the body type. Tom is a little shorter and more robust than Ewan, Ewan is a little lankier and sharp like a dagger.
Kudos to Aemond and his lady friend for showing restraint. I would've punched Aegon in the face. Alicent was always jealous and resentful of Rhaenyra, so much so she settled for Rhaenyra's leftovers (Criston Cole). I'm not the least bit surprised she doubled down on her mistake. If Alicent had really wanted to avoid war and do what was right, she would've made good on her threat to send Otto to the wall the first time he brought up killing Rhaenyra and her children during their meeting with the royal council after Viserys' death. Baela's dragon is so badass. House of the Dragon has such amazing designs for its dragons.
Given how long Aegon has been bullying him (and for a long time doing so alongside Jacaerys and Lucerys, no less) I'm legitimately amazed that Aemond has never just beaten the brakes off him. I mean yeah, obviously it's a bit more difficult now that he's the king and surrounded by his guards, but that's a pretty recent development.
@@VenathTehN3RD You _could_ argue that it speaks to his high-road mentality (when it comes to his brother, at least) - & that Aemond puts a greater value onto his immediate family, because that's what's been hammered into him, whereas Aegon's lived a life of self-indulgence; he's never felt the need to be better, or to improve himself...
I think you might be right. Remember the scene at the council table? He's insecure because he knows Aemond is a better fighter and has a bigger dragon.
@@Alteori yes I remember. Aegon Project his insecurities onto his brother. He's weak and not fit to be king. And everyone know's it. when they were kids Aegon bullied his brother. Maybe I'm wrong but what I realised his friends don't really respect him either.
"If a rider is getting his or her cheeks clapped, does the dragon feel it's cheeks being clapped too?" I just had something playing in the background and had to stop for a moment. Laughed hysterically and genuinely want to know now 😂
What i love about Criston Cole is he's a character you love to hate but he's a actual badass in combat. He spots the dragon and knows they're exposed and he's comfortable sleeping on the hard ground where as Gwain acts like he's above that and wants to sleep in an inn and it almost gets them killed. Say what you want to about him but he's a badass.
@@joywagner979I actually feel like Alys kind of scares Daemon for real because there was a scene cut from season one before Viserys names Rhaeneyra his official heir, where Daemon and Viserys discuss powers greater than dragons, of course Viserys is alluding to the power and significance of Aegon’s prophecy, but Daemon scoffs at even the idea of magic existing. It’s his whole “dreams didn’t make us kings, dragons did” attitude, which originally was meant to play a more clear role is Viserys’s decision to name Rhaeneyra instead. He literally couldn’t trust Daemon with the realm because he rejected the concept of prophecy outright. I think they should have kept it in, but it might have been too on the nose and they wanted the question of whether Daemon has a right to feel passed over or not less ambiguous, and therefore less intriguing. Anyways Alys rivers making him see shit around the wierwoods makes him question his own beliefs. He may go to her, to seek out information, and they may even sleep together at some point. But I think her well-known involvement with magic is going to be what drives his interest in her. Understanding a further route to power. But he might not like what she tells him.
The woman who tells Daemon that he will die in this place is Alys rivers she is a witch with mysterious powers that lets just say she becomes a lover/mistress of someone later won't say who. - Some people speculate she is far older than she looks and supposedly is connected to the old gods like the weirwood tree that Daemon was next to. - When he saw young Rhaenyra that was a dream however when Alys told him he'll die in this place that was reality.
@nont18411 Melisandre praises the Red God, R'Hollor, and is from Asshai or spent time there. Alys is a servant of the Old Gods of Westeros. Not the same person
@@nont18411I don't think she's Melisandre due to her only believing in the lord of light which is a completely different God to the old gods which might be what Alys rivers uses, her powers are a mystery at this time plus we don't know when exactly she was born she might be a bastard of someone (strong maybe?) we need a few more scenes of her and the other strong who hopefully gives us a few hints about her before what happens to him. Melisandre is alive during this time but I don't think she's in westeros maybe we get a cameo of her talking about the lord of light to the small folk but I'm going to assume she's in asshai at this time.
I don’t like anyone from greens but Haelena who technically is neutral in this war but in that moment I felt so bad for him. Obviously both Aegon and Aemond have issues caused by a very bad parenting, Aegon seems to have daddy issues, Aemond mommy issues his need to regress to a “child like” state and do it with a prostitute when he still have a mother with whom she could talk to solve said issues obviously means she just can’t because he just gave up to ask affection from his mother.
Aemond literally feels hated by his own mother, he thinks she blames him for just about everything, which is probably a little true a little bit not. But his life has been at the center of her failed power struggle and I think he feels like to her, he represents her failure to secure favor or security from Viserys before his death. Like perhaps if Aegon and Aemond hadn’t been “troublesome boys” that there wouldn’t be so much tension in the first place, even though it’s adults who repeatedly fail to protect Aemond. I think he feels all this negativity from his mother, which seems genuinely founded based on Alicent referring to “you know what Aemond is,” meaning she thinks he’s even more dangerous than her other idiot son who currently sits the iron throne. Which, he did kill his nephew so Alicent thinks he’s willing to be a kinslayer. That one line speaks of him as if he’s a monster, perhaps for bonding such a dangerous beast as Vhagar, perhaps for showing such naked devotion to the histories and philosophies, sort of failing to hide his own ambition for his brother’s throne. So obviously he is seeking out what he really needs, which is motherly affection and approval; a safe place to confide and confess without being judged. Alicent at least seems to want to provide this for Helaena, although it’s difficult. But she seems completely disconnected from her two sons, especially Aemond. Aemond at least has a strong and relatively healthy relationship with his father figure, Crispy, but he’s a very sensitive boy who was never mothered because he scares her. It’s very sad.
@@hakone1841 I mean, he chose to chase and terrorize his nephew on dragonback over something that happened when they were kids, knowing full well it could escalate. And even if he didn’t say “go kill my nephew” his inability to control Vhagar did lead to Luke’s death. He has the least experience riding dragons and yet he rides the biggest, oldest war dragon in Westeros and he still chased his nephew gleefully. That choice led to the death of Luke and the war progressing when it may have yet been averted, had Luke not been killed by Vhagar. And even if it was a mistake, even if he feels bad, he was involved in that. All these characters are highly complex. It diminishes them to try and handwave away their flaws because we like them. They’re supposed to be good and bad at the same time. I think in fact Aemond is far more good than people have presumed. I think he’s very sensitive and yet has immense self control. His mistake was assuming that his self-control would be strong enough to overcome a centuries-old dragon’s will, no matter what. He has never been cautioned by Viserys that the idea that they control the dragons is an illusion. But saying “he didn’t do anything to anyone” is kind of preposterous. He’s a victim of many things. But he also has agency. And he has exercised it, which has led to negative outcomes.
Rhaenyra should have pointed out that she was trusting her with the most important things in the world to her, her children & the future of her entire family.
Those arent Danys eggs. 1- danys eggs are black, white, and green. 2- they were stolen in the time of King Jahaerys the Conciliator; by a woman named Alyssa Farwind. She sold them to the Iron Bank so she could afford to build a ship and attempt to cross the ocean to the West and was never heard from again (but maybe spotted in Asshai, implying she may have been successful.)
Apparently the writer(or director?) of this episode says they are supposed to be them, I don't like that, it feels like they just want to have *something* to do with them, even though there's no point other than pseudo-fan service 🤷♂️
I don't think you understand the meaning behind Deny or the Doom of Valerya or the Targeryen downfall: The Valyrian were only able to stay in power while they had their dragons, as soon as they lost them then everyone would turn on them. It's this over-reliance on dragons that destroyed the valeryan culture. Dany's story from game of thrones had her game set on "easy" because that is the only explanation for why she manged to conquer a land that a nation of dragon riders coulen't. "You can conquer a castle with dragons, but you need an army to keep it." Dany having 3 dragons and needing be everywhere to control it means that as soon as she left a castle, her enemies would immediatly attack it.
The Doom of Valyria, a catastrophic volcanic event that destroyed the Valyrian peninsula and most of the world's dragons four centuries ago, had an unknown cause:
@user-kw6rh8xq2f Valerya was the perfect location to hatch and grow dragons. Despite the fact that they had already conquered half of the continent if not more, all the economic output was put into making Valerya a more hospitable place. In short, their whole foundation was on dragons. Not armies or military power. Their magic was go keep the volcanos from exploding and thar probably made it worse. If the Valeryans had any other city, they could have survived.
I really enjoy your analysis of this series, you catch a lot of details without getting too bogged down in minutiae. You do great explaining interactions like the favor as well. Also Larys is like a where’s Waldo in this show, just lurking somewhere.
i believe she missread the entire aemond scene, how deep and the importance of it, i mean he feels really bad and cant for the life of him talk to his mom about any of the things going on, the only one he can talk to is the woman who abused him as a child
Bro when she zoomed in to look at the other people’s faces and I noticed Larys right as she said something, I nearly spit my tea. 😂I loved her breakdown of the power dynamic in that scene.
@@hakone1841I think the point is that Aegon is really to blame for any trauma or resulting trauma bond which occurred that night. If you are a sex worker in king’s landing and the crown prince, any of them, but especially the king’s eldest son, tells you to fuck his 13-year-old brother, she doesn’t have the ability to say no to him. So yea it’s super messed up but let’s make sure to lay the blame at the correct feet. Like again, it’s her trade. It’s her job. And the king’s SONS rolled up, and the oldest said “take my brother’s virginity, go on, off you go” and paid you top dollar, she at least had to spend that time with Aemond-and who’s to say he didn’t ask her not to do any sex stuff when they were alone that first time anyways? They might have agreed to pretend they did. But even to Criston, he doesn’t specifically say that he actually did anything that night, merely what Aegon’s thoughts were and why Aemond knew of the place to begin with, and finally- sex doesn’t seem to be a part of their relationship currently. When she goes to kiss him and start treating him like a lover, he stops her and lays his head back on her lap and talks some more. They’re naked together, yes, but being completely naked (down to the eyepatch) is its own form of extreme vulnerability. Maybe he wants to be naked and be held, and that’s it. It would be weird but like, not that weird. Especially for their family.
I dont get why people think aemonds a villain this is literally the events of the story alteori: Boy gets bullied by family for not bonding with dragon, boy bravely goes out to bond with biggest dragon(vhagar chooses her rider you being someones daughter means nothing when it comes to bonding with living creatures with their own morals) boy gets jumped by family in a cave after bonding, boy fights back and is winning then gets sneak stabbed, all because family of bullies mad he got dragon, boy looses eye. How is aemond a villain again!??????
You just compare this show with eragon(movie)? That's where humans and dragons are connected deeply enough for sharing feelings with each other, like pleasure(mad dragon king anyone?)!
@@UMTongoYeah, it’s the most comparable modern dragon riding piece of media. Bonding the riders and dragons. It’s way different and there are elves and shades and talking dragons…
Not just the movie, in the books the bond between dragon and rider is even deeper. And to answer the questions, Eragon feels Saphira mating with another dragon at the end of the story, but it doesn't seem to affect him.
SO to answer some of your questions: Syrax felt Rhaenrya give birth so the dragaons defininitely feel the "sensual' times between their riders. Syrax did lay eggs around the time Rhaenyra was going to give birth to her latest child (before they miscarried). Also Seasmoke is likely restless because Laenor has probably passed. (I'd wager he caught an STD, not because he's gay but because he's a sailor. One too many backshots and oops syphilis) Dragons bonds are so strong that dragons will refuse another rider, up to and including killing anyone else who tries (remember that the dragon that threatened Aemond as a child was already claimed by Helaena, his sister) I won't spoil you but if you feel somethings going to happen to Corlys, between Rhaenys and Corlyswho's more likey going to be in more danger in combat, someone on one of like 500 ships or someone sitting in the sky like a "sitting duck". Then again she is on a Dragon but... Is hers the biggest? The eggs being Dany's eggs was confirmed by the showrunners but it is actually a retcon; in the books their origin is much more badass and are actually laid by the previously mentioned Dreamfyre, Helaena's dragon. The old witch lady is connected to the weirwood tree magic and likely saw the same vision Daemon saw; anyone powerful enough connected to the 'weirwood net' can have acces to all information stored within (which contains all of the memories of anyone sacrificed to the trees/worshipped the old gods AND all the children of the forest) so Bran from GoT could likely see it all if he wanted too. Also the Ancient Valyrians were said to 'mate beasts to slave women to create abominations' so if you ask book readers it's all but a confirmed theory that the Blood Magicians of ancient Valyria literally genetically engineered themselves to have the literal 'blood of the dragon' to create the dragon bond. Dany being immune to fire is a one off event in the books, basically only happening on the funeral pyre. And it's not even a complete immunity; in the books, all of Danys hair burns off when she rises from the ashes with her dragons.
I'm so sorry but when you started asking about whether or not a dragon can tell when their rider is getting their back blown out, I literally laughed for 5 minutes 🤣🤣 Instant subscription
Basicaly, yes ... But Daenerys was the only one with Dragons at her time ... she had nobody to fear ... so she could flex with them all the way she pleased. Rhaenyra is in quite different position ... since there are dragons on both sides, and what is worse the oldest, bigest and as we can assume strongest ... stands against her. 😕 I wonder what happened with that Dragon Daemon went to visit in S1 finale ... remember? That one looked badass. :D
4:42 I love you Alterori but I think you have it backwards. The kids bullied and mocked Aemond first remember? He didn't have a dragon so they brought him and pig and made fun of him. And then Vaygar chose him and he boasted and they (falsely) accused him of stealing her and then they attacked him (quite literally ganging up on him), he fought back and didn't grab a rock until they all kept hitting him while he was down.
Vaghar didn't "choose" him, Aemon DID steal her! He snuck out there, at night, when nobody knew, to bond with a dragon that wasn't his, to take from a girl who was still in mourning after her mother's death. 😒 He also slapped that girl too... which is what started the whole fight! The way some of ya'll will completely forget or misinterpret things on purpose, just to fit your own personal biases within a fandom, is crazy! Reminds me of all the people who sit around feeling sorry for Aegon... completely forgetting that he's a drunk, rapey lunatic, who has left his OWN illegitimate kids to die in an underground children's fighting ring down in Flew Bottom ffs. But ya'll saw him crying in one scene, so now all of the sudden it's "he just wants to be loved". 🙄 Yeah well, I bet that serving girl he sexually assaulted just wanted to be left alone... but he certainly didn't do THAT, now did he??
@@KabbalahSherry If Aemond hadn’t been chosen by Vaghar, he would’ve died right there and then. He didn’t steal nothing, he took a gamble and it paid off.
@@KabbalahSherry You need to re-watch the fight. She LITTERLY charged at him he caught her arms and then threw her to the ground for it. And ironically enough he never slapped anyone. If your going to claim something at least be right about HOW he hit them. The clip is on TH-cam. SMH, the double standards of people will never surprise me. And dragons choose who to ride them. Vaygar chose him, in fact there are some tales of what happens when a rider tries to force a dragon to choose them. Oh and I haven't defended Aegon. So do me a favor and stop spreading misinformation and gaslighting.
Man watching that scene with Dany owning that slave master gave me so many chills, I forgot how hype that scene was! The music, the shots of all the characters realisation, Emilia Clarke's performance, feminine yet confident and powerful, left wing twitter would most definitely call me a chud misogynist who hates female led content based on my opinions of current day media but rewatching that scene just now, made me feel like I was watching when Goku turned super saiyen for the first time, so I know something is wrong with how they depict female characters today.
Those are new KG. Aegon’s friends. They’re immature kids. They don’t have respect for anyone. The books don’t get into specifics about the dragons bond since the POV of fire and blood is from a third or even fourth person perspective. I personally think it’s a warging thing like the Starks have with the direwolves. But, again, it doesn’t get into what happens when their partner is getting some. 😂
The bullying started with the strong a making fun of Aemond with that dragon pig, and the strongs kept getting away with it because of their spoil mom and being Heir to the throne
Aegon was the ring leader of Aemonds bullying when they were kids and was enabled by Alicent, who just told him not to do it in front of the Luc and Jace as she was already pitting the kids against each other. Only reason he hated the Strongs more was because of the eye.
I think some of your opening premise about Aemond is wrong. Weren’t the Strong boys starting all this with the pig joke and then it was Luke who brings the knife to the fight. Aemond seemed pretty justified to have the anger he does.
Mmmm you're right!! I think he was being bullied by them first. I thought it was because they were being made fun of for being bastards. But see this just goes to show you, by the end of this word nobody will even know what started it.
@@Alteori I can understand the no one will know what started it all. I just think Aemond is a bit of a misunderstood soul. He took the initiative for once in his life then his tormentors take his eye and never get any justice. And his only internalization for him was I got a bigger weapon than them and then ends up using it. His absent mother then gets upset for him taking the justice that she couldn’t even get for him.
Dani's eggs where smuggled a lot earlier in the book that Martin wrote. It was when Viserys's grandfather ruled, The Old King Jaherys. He had twelve kids and he outlived all of them. He treated Alicent like his own daughter.
Knowing that we've seen dragons feel the pain and fear of their riders ( s1ep3/10). And we've seen Syrax laying eggs while Rhaenyra was pregnant, I can presume they also feel pleasure along with their riders 😊
When you were asking all those questions, as someone who is unnecessarily entrenched in this lore, I just kept answering yes 😂 So, yes. When you're getting your black blown out, your dragon feels your emotions as there is a mental bond. I know someone else mentioned Dany and Drogon. Somehow someway, Laenor's dragon is feeling Laenor's restlessness. Maybe this is an indication that Laenor will return, perhaps disguised? I don't wanna post spoilers unless someone requests it.
36:24 The meaning of Aegon's statement: "You have sworn an oath, and shall uphold it. I shall not have Kingsguard who betray it, lest I end up with a Ser Lucamore of my own to disgrace me." Ser Lucamore, of House Strong, was a knight of King Jaehaerys's kingsguard. He disgraced the White Cloaks by secretly marrying, not once, not twice, but thrice. None of the women knew of each other, and he had 13 kids. He was gelded and sent to the Wall, one of each of his wives, and the bastards on them, being sent to the Vale, Riverlands, and Westerlands.
The overhead shots of kings landing are partially cg, but kings landing is really Dubrovnik, Croatia in real life. It’s a medieval walled city right on the ocean. It’s absolutely gorgeous!!
I don't know how I feel knowing Alteori plays Century: Age of Ashes (I play it too and main bloodchaser) Also NOOOO Alteori plz don't insukt Christian Cole's physical appearance because you're just insulting the actor
When it comes to a dragon and their rider they are bonded until death most commonly of the rider then a dragon can take another rider but when they do have a rider they can feel the emotions of their rider and it goes both ways but they can also feel their pain not necessarily every feeling but feelings of great pain can be felt
@@Alteori To go along with what he said, it's like how Caraxes screamed after Daemon took the arrow to his shoulder in Season 1, or how Syrax flashed on the screen when Rhaenyra was in labor.
In the books when daenarys took some magical drink Drogon was also feeling the affects. Crashing into walls, not being able to fly straight. Luckily he was small at the time, so yeah, dragons probably feel EVERYTHING. Which brings up my theory that if the rider gets busy, the dragon instinctively rolls a dice to lay an egg if the dragons female
Dany's eggs are from another part of Fire and Blood. These ones are different. And dragons just sense the unease war brings in their riders. Dunno if they feel everything their rider does.😅 And Drogon was black.
To answer ur question about dragons feeling it. I doubt they can feel it like the latter. But they will be like as u said first " yeah shes getting clapped now." And just let the thought slide away. Though in most cases dragon riding couples their dragons r mostly a couple too. Vermithor and silverwing for example. Maybe even caraxes and syrax. So in a way their sexual connection can drive dragons to bond with their opposites dragon.
Century: Age of Ashes. It is a bit like a Dog fighting game (Plane against plane like War Thunder), but with Dragons and as you can see alot of medieval/fantasy themes
Yes Alteori. Dragons and riders have a link from very far away and dragons feel when their riders are getting it on. Moondancer (Baela's dragon) is a green wolf headed dragon. Vhagar is green and Caraxes is a wolf headed dragon, and those were her parents dragon's Syrax had multiple clutches of eggs while Rhaenyra was pregnant, they even cut to Syrax while Rhaenyra is giving birth. And they wanted to cut to Syrax's face when Rhaenyra went into a rage at the end of last season.
Christon Cole is also a simp to an unreal degree. Can't forget that amongst all the "Chad" rhetoric. And no Alteori, Cole isn't a male mary sue. His only "talents" we've seen are his physical ones, and in Episode 2 of Season 1, they explain how Cole has actually seen war/real combat, whereas many knights in Westeros have not. His success isn't because "oh mai gawd, Cole is AMAZAH" without any explanation. He is made a kingsgaurd because of the fact that no other prospects had real combat experience (him beating Daemon is not a reason here). His becoming Alicent's personal guard is because of the rift between her and Rhaneyra mid season, and Alicent wanted to (A) have more allies against the Blacks, and (B) Cole had been forthcoming with her. Likewise, Aegon makes him hand because Cole did something decisive, whereas Otto was appearing to meander. So, no, there is no "Mary Sue" complex going on with Cole simply because he managed to ascend the ranks. We hate Cole because of how much of a prick and a hypocrite he has become. Had he been as honorable as he seemed, he would have offed himself years ago. However, he keeps going on and blaming/lambasting everyone else for being traitors, malcontents, and enemies (confessions through projection), all the while being bitter and wretched about it.
About your question on your dragon feeling as you are getting your ass clapped. I'm sure they do to a certain degree. At least, the excitedness, maybe the relaxation that comes afterwards and maybe happy for their rider or something. In the show there are two dragons that formed a very strong bond because their original riders had a very strong bond and eventually got married. It's been like 50+ years since that and those dragons still consider each other as life companions. So, they definetely are in contact with their rider's feelings, specially if it's a strong or intense feeling. The dragons can also feel hatred towards other dragons and humans if their rider has very strong negative feelings towards another person. An example would be, when daemon showed Caraxes to Mysaria in the first season. Daemon calmed Caraxes down and he let himself be petted by this woman that he was in love at the time.
@@Alteori I think they weren't in love in the beginning and they are targaryen, so they are obviously family. It's Jahaerys Targaryen's and Alyssane Targaryen's dragons. They are both in the show, we saw Vermithor last season when Daemon was singing to him. We still have not seen Silverwing yet, i think, but we may see her this season.
Why is nobody asking, what the hell happened to the other Alteori design? It’s been bugging me for a awhile now, did she get replaced by an “Alternate”?
I didnt realize until screen crush pointed it out. Those two groups fought last season at Rheneras suitor ..party? When everyone waited on line to talk to her, those two houses got into an argument and once again, tan tunic ended up dead.

That's true! I don't have sisters but from my experience growing up, women are certainly more evil than men. Men and boys will be upfront with their cruelty but women will be upfront and snaky with it too, ruining your reputation and humiliating you and breaking you down emotionally. A lot of my biggest and most cruel bullies were women. The guys made fun of me and ostracized me, But the girls openly and behind my back tore me down. That being said, one of the people who went to bat for me while people were spreading rumors about me behind my back was a goth girl I was friends with. She was humongous and I used to call her mama bear because of that and she called me baby bear. Because of how she looked and she was gothic on top of it, people were very afraid of her so she confronted some girls in the bathroom when she overheard them saying shit about me. She didn't even tell me this. Somebody else who had been there told me she did that for me

I admire him.
I disagree with Alteori on her interpretation of the new King's Guard not respecting Cristin
from what happens later in the episode, it's clear that Aegon appointed his 'friends' from the previous episode to the King's Guard and they lack the professionalism to be alert on the job
I also think that the disorder we see is to emphasize Otto's importance in running the day-to-day
That's fair
Otto is like Tywin. Things went to hell once he’s gone.

You _could_ argue that it speaks to his high-road mentality (when it comes to his brother, at least) - & that Aemond puts a greater value onto his immediate family, because that's what's been hammered into him, whereas Aegon's lived a life of self-indulgence; he's never felt the need to be better, or to improve himself...

Did you notice this is the wolf woman from the Netflix GLOW women's wrestling drama series?
Who is very similar in look and personality...
She could be Melisandre
@@nont18411 absolutely not. There's no evidence supporting this
@nont18411 Melisandre praises the Red God, R'Hollor, and is from Asshai or spent time there. Alys is a servant of the Old Gods of Westeros. Not the same person
I thought she was a younger version of Melisandre, the Red Woman/Red Witch
Didn’t he also mentioned Alicent as “Alicent” instead of “mother”?
whaat how do you not like aemond?
@@laurelsilberman5705 Even saying its a little bit true that it was his fault feels wrong, because he himself didint really do anything to anyone

"You can conquer a castle with dragons, but you need an army to keep it."
Dany having 3 dragons and needing be everywhere to control it means that as soon as she left a castle, her enemies would immediatly attack it.
It was magic they're entire city was destroyed in one night it was a magic spell gone wrong not the over use of dragons
The Doom of Valyria, a catastrophic volcanic event that destroyed the Valyrian peninsula and most of the world's dragons four centuries ago, had an unknown cause:
So were you get it was a over reliance on dragons that caused the doom ??
Were you get over reliance on dragons that caused the doom
@user-kw6rh8xq2f Valerya was the perfect location to hatch and grow dragons. Despite the fact that they had already conquered half of the continent if not more, all the economic output was put into making Valerya a more hospitable place.
In short, their whole foundation was on dragons. Not armies or military power.
Their magic was go keep the volcanos from exploding and thar probably made it worse.
If the Valeryans had any other city, they could have survived.

I keep thinking of a quote from the movie, The Godfather, when Don Corleone’s son Sonny, was killed, “It’s was so unfortunate, so unnecessary.”
Alteori's tangents crack me up.
SO to answer some of your questions:
Syrax felt Rhaenrya give birth so the dragaons defininitely feel the "sensual' times between their riders. Syrax did lay eggs around the time Rhaenyra was going to give birth to her latest child (before they miscarried).
Also Seasmoke is likely restless because Laenor has probably passed. (I'd wager he caught an STD, not because he's gay but because he's a sailor. One too many backshots and oops syphilis) Dragons bonds are so strong that dragons will refuse another rider, up to and including killing anyone else who tries (remember that the dragon that threatened Aemond as a child was already claimed by Helaena, his sister)
I won't spoil you but if you feel somethings going to happen to Corlys, between Rhaenys and Corlyswho's more likey going to be in more danger in combat, someone on one of like 500 ships or someone sitting in the sky like a "sitting duck".

When it comes to a dragon and their rider they are bonded until death most commonly of the rider then a dragon can take another rider but when they do have a rider they can feel the emotions of their rider and it goes both ways but they can also feel their pain not necessarily every feeling but feelings of great pain can be felt
Ah ok. That makes sense lol
@@Alteori To go along with what he said, it's like how Caraxes screamed after Daemon took the arrow to his shoulder in Season 1, or how Syrax flashed on the screen when Rhaenyra was in labor.
@@sonofjack6286 exactly, I wonder where the pain level stops tho because we know that even if a rider dies the dragon does not die with her/him
In the books when daenarys took some magical drink Drogon was also feeling the affects. Crashing into walls, not being able to fly straight. Luckily he was small at the time, so yeah, dragons probably feel EVERYTHING.
Which brings up my theory that if the rider gets busy, the dragon instinctively rolls a dice to lay an egg if the dragons female
2:18 i might be saying this too soon but those knights were Aegons friends he made knights, so by default they are more laxed.
Dany's eggs are from another part of Fire and Blood. These ones are different. And dragons just sense the unease war brings in their riders. Dunno if they feel everything their rider does.😅 And Drogon was black.
Right, there should be no guessing what color the eggs are, I feel the writers would make it too obvious
What's the name of the game in the background?
To answer ur question about dragons feeling it.
I doubt they can feel it like the latter. But they will be like as u said first " yeah shes getting clapped now." And just let the thought slide away.
Though in most cases dragon riding couples their dragons r mostly a couple too. Vermithor and silverwing for example. Maybe even caraxes and syrax. So in a way their sexual connection can drive dragons to bond with their opposites dragon.
13:00 Dany's eggs are pretty much confirmed to be the 3 eggs Elissa Farman stole from Dragonstone in 54 AC and sold to the Sealord of Braavos
I love that you noticed Larys In background, completely missed that.
best reaction or review, idk what this is, but this the best! lol plz do all episode!
What was the dragon riding game in background
Century: Age of Ashes. It is a bit like a Dog fighting game (Plane against plane like War Thunder), but with Dragons and as you can see alot of medieval/fantasy themes
Yes Alteori. Dragons and riders have a link from very far away and dragons feel when their riders are getting it on.
Moondancer (Baela's dragon) is a green wolf headed dragon. Vhagar is green and Caraxes is a wolf headed dragon, and those were her parents dragon's
Syrax had multiple clutches of eggs while Rhaenyra was pregnant, they even cut to Syrax while Rhaenyra is giving birth. And they wanted to cut to Syrax's face when Rhaenyra went into a rage at the end of last season.
11:45 WHAT THE HECK!!!! I LITERALLY CANT UNSEE IT NOW! 🫣😂😂😂😂 oh goodness 😅💯💯
Aegon pulled a drive-by comment section roast on my boy. He’s not gonna make it 😂
Her pointing out larys is killing me😂💀
Christon Cole is also a simp to an unreal degree.
Lofty heights for such a wide legged spreader.....🔥 😂😂🤦🏽♀️💀
So fun to see someone reacting who didn't read the books
*"Dude looks like Stonehenge..."*
🤣🤣🤣
what is the game she is playing in the background?
He was in love with her? Ah. I guess that makes a lot of sense. Kind of gross but understandable.
You are killing me in this video… I can’t stop laughing… I need to breathe… love your commentary and whatever.. it’s hilarious
😂 glad we could laugh together
@@Alteori my mom came to see what was wrong with me because I laughed so much…
Thank you for acknowledging that everyone disrespects weakness.
I didnt realize until screen crush pointed it out. Those two groups fought last season at Rheneras suitor ..party? When everyone waited on line to talk to her, those two houses got into an argument and once again, tan tunic ended up dead.
10:00 🤣🤣🤣 I'm fkn DYING 😆😆😆😂😂
What? 😂 Don't act like you never had them thoughts
@@Alteori Thats between me and vagar
NO WAIT !😬
The thirst is strong in this one.
ok but remember that's ewan mitchell's body aight? a lot of memes are mocking the characters build but remember that would also be body-shaming the real life actor.
I don't see anything wrong with him though 😂 he looks sculpted and beautiful.
@@Alteori Skinny guys deserve representation. He don’t need to be masculine guy like Cavil or Mamoa to be badass. I personally found him hella attractive.
Love this take from a creator not particularly farmiliar with the universe. Its a refreshing take. 👍 Excellent work and hilarious AF.
I died with the very very valid question about a dragon sensing their riders getting their cheeks clapped. The annswer is yes, lol
I think Seasmoke is restless because Laenor just died.
I grew up with 3 sisters. You all can be monsters too lol.
Somebody else who had been there told me she did that for me
In the books they say Drogon could feel Deanarys pleasure
What game is that at 16:50?
Omg, your commentary is insane lol
Alicents brother ✊ is heavy on the subliminal shade
what in the gnome laugh...
omg i cant look at him the same now 😂
The comment of pelican and an owl made me wheeze so hard
Awesome that you picked up on Moondancer seeing those riders first and signaled Baela! 👍🏾
I didn't catch it the first time but that was so cool
