    I'm getting high 30s mpg out of mine and on a run I've had 40mpg.
    Love my Discovery

    CHANGE the OLI every maximum 10.000km! And the crank may not break.
    While you can buy the armrests either new or second hand, they cannot be installed on to your seats, as they do not have the welded on bracket and bushings to support the fastening of the arm rests.
    However, there's a solution for that. Just buy two HSE seat backs and undo everything, to be bare stripped down metal frame. Then you do the same on your current seat backs, and build on everything to the "new" HSE frames, measuring the two holes you have to add to the leather.. I did, not very difficult to do, and it works perfectly.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Kind regards.

    Yes, buy it, but make sure full Land Rover Waranty is availble to be extended. Mine was extended a further 3 years after 1 year deal on purchase of 6 year old adiscovery (2016)

    Yes you should - just bought a very low mileage 16 Landmark, 1 owner with FLRSH, switching from highest spec new Defender X (just hope the crankshaft, turbo and oil pump hold up - Ext Warranty also a must)

      I had the Defender X 90 P400, it’s a remarkable car, great fun to drive and IMO looks great. So why change? It had a feeling of being too valuable (c £120k with a lot of options) and I was spending too much time being concerned about keeping it like new, rather than just using it. The boot could have been bigger, no kids or dog, but wasn’t a show stopper. The tech is great, head up display, Pivi system, digital dash, 360 cameras, dynamic cruise, Paddleshift, Apple car play etc but I can’t really say if added a great deal to my driving experience. Sometime the tech is glitchy and frustrating. Always liked the look of the D4, seems ridiculously versatile, not pretentious, a little more agricultural I guess. I like buttons over touch screens, and I hope, whilst this one is like new, I will feel at more ease just using it for what it is. Maybe I’m just going mad but that’s what was in head. Sometimes less is more.

      Yes, I’ve done pretty much the same!! They’re cracking motors, so much better than the current Discovery which looks hideous!!! I’ve not bothered to get purchase any warranty, but I do get it the oil changed every 6K miles!!!!

      Drive it gently... That SDV6 is tempting to floor but it will blow up on your face
      And change the oil every 12000, not 24000.
      That said, I don't think there is a better car to own. It does everything. Love mine

    You said the " infamous "gear box, I think you meant the famous gear box. I would choose a torque converter gear box any day and the FX gear box is one of the few reliable things on the D4 everything else is a case of you pays your big money takes a chance. Poor build quality should be taken for granted. I have a MY 2016 D4 and I love it.

      think the crank is a bigger issue than the gear box, just service it as per BMW

    Am confused...... Trying to choose between Disco 4 Landmark and a 2015 Merc Gl350 model. Please advise on reliability, practicality and comfort

      Had a similar decision to make. I eventually went for the Disco. For me a car a decision you largely make with your heart. Despite fears of Disco being problematic, I love the car

      LR4 is significantly more practical and comfortable for me.
      Reliability is probably similar, except LR has great non- dealer support and lots of parts available.

      Yea I have to admit that an armrest in these cars is a game changer for comfort.

    Why don’t you state value of the cars you review…?.. this is the 3 rd now that you not told us cost..?.🤷🏼‍♂️

    • @condorvehiclesalesltd
      @condorvehiclesalesltd  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching. The reason I don’t mention the cost is because the value of the vehicle model that I’m reviewing will change over time but the vehicle itself won’t in terms of what I review. Hope that makes sense?

    • @pedrobarnez11
      @pedrobarnez11 ปีที่แล้ว

    2016 hse, black, came with most things, the meridian is huge, love jumping in and it runs my spotify with phone in my pocket, Dunno why the is no sunroof, but would not use it hear in QLD .
    The 254 hp is more than enough, I drive light throttle much as I would drive a 52 tonne b double, I never red line anything I drive, even when i had a K1200 GT BMW
    the car came with 20 inch shiny black rims n pirelle atms, i modified the front calipers to take LR 18 Alloys rims , thereby getting a much wider choice of tryes
    running coopers, ATM 430 a piece
    it came with a top spec ARB Bullbar with fogs and water jets inc and massive driving lights, on highway the puter reads 7.6 at 100km/h, I have not tested it at the pump,I have a 2010 tdv6 too, i prefer the shift stick to the 8sp.paddles

    P.S. I don't believe your diesel mpg is believable. I sadly monitor mine (was an engineer) and it varies around 25 or 26 mpg (statute miles per imperial gallon of Shell vpower diesel). As an experiment, I brimmed tank last Summer, drove on motorway cruise only until briming again after 1/4 tank used. In that false situation I achievve 29.5 mpg...
