there are good reasons for the rules but Jimmy obviously has a feel for the tools. They're his and he's been using them for years. Being safe in these situations often means having a feel for the irregularities of the wood, knowing how the machine is calibrated etc. and it's very hard to know someone's learned that. So when people are trained they're taught basic safe processes that don't require much actual skill, often also because workplace injuries can shut down businesses and the stakes have to be as low as possible.

Great video Jimmy! I noticed a similar choice in tools. As well the dewalt 60v tools I also picked up the metabo framing nailer and I love it. Just recently got the 60v angle grinder and its honestly the last cordless hand tool I think I need. One tool I didn;t see is the Dewalt 60v recip. That's been my favourite purchase! While I appreciate the freedom of the circular saw its comparable in performance to my corded saw. Going from the 20v recip to the 60v has been transcendental. The mass and and power has been awesome! Rather than trying to "ride" the tool on the 20v the 60v just powers through almost everything. Again great video and props to the dramatic pauses😂
