11:49 not only reminds me of when I was in Ghana but also ironically one area of Toronto. I don't know if people realize this is pretty much the normal way how most of the world obtains it's produce. You need a Cape Verdean friends. I feel like you ended up at the spots that no one goes to. you were just at the wrong places at the wrong times. places like cape verde you need friends in-the-know to take you to the fun spots. There are so many parties in Praia that are packed and fun....
Agreed. It’s hard to navigate when you don’t know anybody.
@@djeanpierre Yes, Cape Verde is one of those places that you need to spend a good amount of time. You don't get the wow factor in short time you like you experience in Brazil, Europe or Asia. However, if you spend enough time there(travel through multiple islands), it is magical.

The beach he's showing is just a small city beach locals go to cool down. Those are not even close to being to the most beautiful beaches in Cape Verde.

@@djeanpierre Tarrafal is a nice beach. Some of the other island like Boa Vista and Sal have big beautiful beaches.
