His ability to essentially copy someone he's fighting with his "Echo" and how he physically will change to accommodate for it, especially now as unlike most forms his clothes become more metallic for seemingly more conductivity. I think its because the barrier actually absorbed the energy of the attacks for the base drop. Either that or he did the classic "This barrier isn't just for protectin'. I'm chargin' mah special attack as well."
Its interesting to think about the possibilities of the echo ability in this AU. Like, if bf went against the church, i feel like Ruv would have/ allow BF access to sound/percussive force abilities or maybe gravity-esqe abilities. Whatever it'd be I'd imagine its a hard-hitting AOE Kind of thing

I liked the small detail that hex is the only one without a proper defense since he’s not 100% used to that body. Also how his head doesn’t move after the world shaking move.
Nobody seems to be addressing this but it feels like they need to be. The part after the barriers where hex just takes over everyone's body and just janks them around so hard that most of them are left injured or at least with pretty damn bad whiplash is crazy.
Idea for if you decide to do a "Detected" cover of this combined with your awesome fighting and animating skills... Story: After losing the first round, the hackers controlling Hex get salty, but then decide to uno reverse BF by trapping all his friends (save for the Updike bot head with Hex's code still in there) in electric cages and moving them to their side of their stage. The hackers then reveal that the whole fight was merely a test run of some of Hex's "experimental" combat mechanisms, and now that they know what BF and his friends are capable of, they decide to turn the tables on BF by using his own friends abilities against him (more on that later). BF is a bit shaken by this, but with some motivation from GF, Carol, Whitty, and Hex, BF decides to brave this next challenge the hackers have for him. Eventually, BF wins, resulting in the cages breaking and Hex regaining control over his original body. The hackers disappear, but continue their schemes to take down BF and his friends (just like the original mod). Gameplay: Hex's normal attacks remain the same, but now he can also temporarily control GF, Whitty, and Carol and use their abilities against their will to attack BF. BF's own electric attacks now chain off of Hex and towards the others. This is because the whole goal of this fight is for BF to break his friends out of their cages while withstanding the onslaught of attacks coming from Hex and his friends. Hex (in the bot head) can fire at them as well, which would be beneficial towards the player, however, if BF misses a certain number of notes, Hex will deactivate for a while and not be able to help BF (this could cost players attempts). You could basically make a whole game outra these guys. Bf is the mimic, whitty is the close range while gf is the long range, Carol being the trapper... I guess? And Hex being a tank considering he just took a massive beating from 5 people for a long while. I also like the detail that hex doesn't really care that he's getting pushed, he just stands there and shifts a bit, furthermore adding to my immovable tank theory.
I like how, for this one in particular, it looks like it's actually *painful* for BF to echo and use the electricity, Especially since as opposed to all the other times, his eyes and mouth start glowing with it and changed his voice too
Nah, he isn't in pain, just trying to hold all that electricity. After all, he echo'd quite a strong opponent and he's trying not to jitter all over the place since constant movement is sort of needed to contain all that energy plus it needs to go somewhere eventually. I'm probably reading too much into this :/

It's good to see you're still putting uploads from time to time, even if not too frequently. Make sure to focus more on your exams and education than this though, I'm sure there's plenty of others that agree, we can wait longer for the animations, just take your time and make sure your irl stuff is dealt with first, we'll be happily waiting for your amazing videos on the side.
The echo is supposed to copy the enemys ability, not go "fire water ice etc", that feels like a coincidence, i mean, ig itd be cool to get more elemental enemies sooo, through, to try to guess the next foe by using more elementales abilities isnt exactly correct. BF in the other abilities has actually used abilities like punching (matt) or updike's ability.
I believe I speak for everyone when I say that we dont want you to push yourself too hard. If you cant make any videos, then just focus on college. You make amazing content and we love to see it. However I think everyone here loves to see it when you're not overworking yourself. focus on college first. we'll wait for when you return my guy! we all love you! P.S. LOVED the animation! it might not be as complete as you would have wanted it to be but it still looks and sounds great to me and no need to worry about the wait between uploads, i'm sure most peoples understand that real life doesn't allow you to work on them much... personally i'm just asking you to not overwork yourself
i'm pretty sure cancelled mods are unfinished because of drama, leaks and whatnot rather than things like college getting in the way not too sure you can compare their situation to this video even if they're great despite being unfinished

theres so many great things goin on here. the fact that boyfriends copy ability is slowly becoming more and more advanced. the fact that the demons were prioitizing bf alot more than the others cause of his copy ability. the fact whitty protected boyfriend and carol since they both (sorta) had no means of protection till after. the fact whitty got "H E A T E D U P" and did close combat. That fact an evil ai could semi impose it's will on others. The fact hex's body can withstand it's own power. Nuclear bombs, devil and angle magic, and a composite of it. Hex tanky af so many little things that were just eye candy. just a all around amazing animation from chimp
Talk about “THUNDER THROW DOWN” This shit was funkin AWESOME! Love the new electro powers/form for BF! Whitty pulls out all the stops and throws hands! And the iris animation along with the body manip bit was a amazing touch! And that finale! It looked all so good I can’t get over it!
As usual you have impressed me with your animation skills. It seems Hacked Hex was bringing some firepower this time around, looks like he's got the Electric attribute, along with the skill "Phantom Double", and the Unique skill "Nuron Control". Definitely some tough competition.

I'm not sure if Whitty would fight against Hex so easy. I mean, he has the skills to fight, but Hex is his friend. Even possesed, Whitty wouldn't want to hurt him, and here he didn't hesitate to hit him with FIRE, even at close range. The four of them could have destroyed Hex. But well, it was that or die electrocuted, so it's ok. Apart of it I like the Electric BF design, with a metal cap hehe. I like your work, excellent animation and with details like the damage that the characters suffer, like BF with a hand on the floor, visibly hurt because of the electric charges that Hex threw to him. Or the facial expressions of all the team (Whitty's hurt animations are recycled of his battle with Ice BF, it's notorious hehe). Very good job! I'll be waiting for more, take your time
@@AustynL yes, that's obvious. Just thought about the friendship between Whitty and Hex. He's basically his only friend... you couldn't fight against your friend even if hitting him could save him. Possessed or not, the body is the same. The appearence is the same. He's virtually Hex but with a virus within himself. Thinking about the Whitty's mentality, it had to be hard to damage Hex. Of course, he tried to free him but in the process he could have destroyed his body with his hits or his fire
@@EF12-07 Well the thing is, Hex's mind (or program in his case) is transferred to a new body, aka the Updike laser robot. That might helped Whitty get over the emotional obstacle. At least, Hex himself didn't mind blasting his own body.
At 3:35 I like how when “Hex” was targeting Carol, Whitty hopped in close and personal to basically beat the crap out of “Hex” to stop him from hurting Carol so much.
Gotta love the small details. I think the reason why Electric BF doesn't seem 100% even when he wasn't hit with an attack is because he also copied the crack in the screen. There is small electricity sparking where the crack would be.
It could be because the electricity is damaging BFs body as it doesn’t effect Hex due to him being made of metal but it effects Bf when he uses it because he isn’t made of metal
Actually that crack is from bf smacking him in the beginning Bf can directly copy powers/abilities but I do think the ability he copied didn’t work well with him specifically or it was too much for him to handle plus the electricity you saw was the hackers aura I think
I was expecting detected, but still glitcher remix is also a banger. Also, i understand the situation you are going through while you are in uni. As people say, *progress comes at a slow pace* meaning that you couldn't do a lot of work faster than expected, but that's ok because i know how you feel, university is a lot harder than school because i am in university as well. Electric Screen: blocks all of BF's attacks for a turn (the player will not be able to push the icons while this ability is active)
GF's attack: Demon Slashes
When the slashes hit BF, he loses health on the healthbar. Her last attack results in a critical hit, which will push BF's icon all the way to the edge (1-shot).
Whitty's attacks:
Fire Waves: acts the same as Hacked Hex's normal attacks
Stealth Bomb: acts as it does in Whitty's Fire Fight
Carol's attacks:
Light Balls: normal attacks that do less damage than any other attack, but cannot be blocked
Heavenly Shield: acts the same as Electric Screen
BF's attacks:
Normal attacks: acts the same as Hacked Hex's normal attacks, but they visually appear to chain to other nearby targets (does not affect healthbar recovery)
Electric Screen (Echoed): prevents most attacks from getting through at the cost of some HP from the healthbar. (Has a cooldown of 15 seconds)
Hex (Updike Bot Head):
Normal attacks: this attack hits every opponent in its path, which will recover a small amount of health on BF's side. (This can be a life-saver if you don't have enough HP to survive) Hex will attack in beat with the song, so he may fire more lasers some turns than others (good to keep note of).

And Hex being a tank considering he just took a massive beating from 5 people for a long while.
I also like the detail that hex doesn't really care that he's getting pushed, he just stands there and shifts a bit, furthermore adding to my immovable tank theory.

Carol more like the support, as she's an angel, she guards the back from her teammates and uses her angelic powers to heal them.
I like how, for this one in particular, it looks like it's actually *painful* for BF to echo and use the electricity, Especially since as opposed to all the other times, his eyes and mouth start glowing with it and changed his voice too
I think it's because we humans are not used to electricity, we can almost easily handle heat and cold, but being electrocuted is beyond our reach.

Nah, he isn't in pain, just trying to hold all that electricity. After all, he echo'd quite a strong opponent and he's trying not to jitter all over the place since constant movement is sort of needed to contain all that energy plus it needs to go somewhere eventually.

To be fair for bf he doesn't really have his own specific power so he seems to mimic to stay in the same level as his enemy-

Wind is probably for tails get trolled sonic chapter, water is for Gf's brother, and earth is probably for the cheeky mod.
The echo is supposed to copy the enemys ability, not go "fire water ice etc", that feels like a coincidence, i mean, ig itd be cool to get more elemental enemies sooo, through, to try to guess the next foe by using more elementales abilities isnt exactly correct. BF in the other abilities has actually used abilities like punching (matt) or updike's ability.

theres so many great things goin on here. the fact that boyfriends copy ability is slowly becoming more and more advanced. the fact that the demons were prioitizing bf alot more than the others cause of his copy ability. the fact whitty protected boyfriend and carol since they both (sorta) had no means of protection till after. the fact whitty got "H E A T E D U P" and did close combat. That fact an evil ai could semi impose it's will on others. The fact hex's body can withstand it's own power. Nuclear bombs, devil and angle magic, and a composite of it. Hex tanky af
so many little things that were just eye candy. just a all around amazing animation from chimp

I'm not sure if Whitty would fight against Hex so easy. I mean, he has the skills to fight, but Hex is his friend. Even possesed, Whitty wouldn't want to hurt him, and here he didn't hesitate to hit him with FIRE, even at close range. The four of them could have destroyed Hex. But well, it was that or die electrocuted, so it's ok.
Apart of it I like the Electric BF design, with a metal cap hehe. I like your work, excellent animation and with details like the damage that the characters suffer, like BF with a hand on the floor, visibly hurt because of the electric charges that Hex threw to him. Or the facial expressions of all the team (Whitty's hurt animations are recycled of his battle with Ice BF, it's notorious hehe). Very good job! I'll be waiting for more, take your time
Remember, Whitty's only fighting Hex's BODY. Not Hex himself, meaning he's fighting the virus.
@@AustynL yes, that's obvious. Just thought about the friendship between Whitty and Hex. He's basically his only friend... you couldn't fight against your friend even if hitting him could save him. Possessed or not, the body is the same. The appearence is the same. He's virtually Hex but with a virus within himself. Thinking about the Whitty's mentality, it had to be hard to damage Hex. Of course, he tried to free him but in the process he could have destroyed his body with his hits or his fire
@@EF12-07 Well the thing is, Hex's mind (or program in his case) is transferred to a new body, aka the Updike laser robot. That might helped Whitty get over the emotional obstacle. At least, Hex himself didn't mind blasting his own body.

Gotta love the small details. I think the reason why Electric BF doesn't seem 100% even when he wasn't hit with an attack is because he also copied the crack in the screen. There is small electricity sparking where the crack would be.
Maybe that disrupted his self healing, since he got really tired at the end
It could be because the electricity is damaging BFs body as it doesn’t effect Hex due to him being made of metal but it effects Bf when he uses it because he isn’t made of metal
Actually that crack is from bf smacking him in the beginning
Bf can directly copy powers/abilities but I do think the ability he copied didn’t work well with him specifically or it was too much for him to handle plus the electricity you saw was the hackers aura I think

I was expecting detected, but still glitcher remix is also a banger. Also, i understand the situation you are going through while you are in uni. As people say, *progress comes at a slow pace* meaning that you couldn't do a lot of work faster than expected, but that's ok because i know how you feel, university is a lot harder than school because i am in university as well.
