Im in the process of getting a Ca hco license and here is what I found out. I live across the border in another state so I had to rent an office in California county I plan to work in. You have to have an office, either at home or rent one and office hours must be posted and someone in the office at those hours at all times. You can set the hours anyway you want. My "offical" office hours are tues-wed- 9-3. They can and will come and aduit you at some time during those hours. You can set your hours by appoinment only but you must be availabe to open the office with 2 hours warning.

When should I expect to see an inspector, after they give me the license? I spoke to a supervisor at Ahca after listening to your video, it was a definite no no for the virtual office.This really hard to spend so much renting a place and buying stuffwhen we don’t even know if we’ll get the license.
Hi @margaret. Thank you for your comment. Here is my suggestion. During the application process, you can sign up for the virtual office to keep expenses down. The closer you get to submitting your packet and actually opening your doors, you actually convert the virtual office into an actual office. By doing so, your actual physical address does not change. Also as I mentioned in my video, you can also operate from home if you can designate space in your home dedicated to your business. I hope this helps. Good luck!

If operating from home can you meet them In a Public place to fill out paperwork? Would that be acceptable
Are you talking about potential employees? How public is the place? I guess you would just want to be careful about making sure the person has a level of confidentiality and that they are comfortable with this approach.
Can you use apt if you have separate room for office?

Hello. My question for you. Can I operate both a Home care and Home Healthcare agency?
I don't see why not. You would have to be licensed separately based on the nature of the requirements. My assumption here is that as long as you meet requirements for both, you should be able to operate both. Make sure you have a strong inner circle to carry out your vision. Good luck!
