I agree. Gas stations in the US have such easy going and polite workers though from what I saw in this video. That’s not the case for gas stations in Toronto where I live. I go to the gas station near my condo to buy cigarettes almost every day, and the workers are all a bunch of stingy old Indian dudes who I can obviously tell hate their jobs and just want to go home 😂
@@HalJordan0 sometimes its like that but most of the time theyre always pretty chill as long as you dont try to steal or rob them. And in smaller town theyll let you buy beer and blunts if your underaged

I don’t understand. Is this a rarity? I’m from NC and treat cashiers kindly on the reg and most of them respond in kind. I cannot understand why anyone is rude to cashiers, how sad is a person’s life that they must lash out at cashiers and store employees? Just be decent, guys. That’s it. It takes no energy.. so much less energy than being rude and out of pocket. I just don’t get why a person wouldn’t be nice.

I work at a Circle K in Ohio and there's only one customer that ever gets Marlboro Southern Cuts and I always know that's what he's coming to get lol. There's also only one customer that ever gets the Marlboro NXTs and I'm gonna have to tell him next time he buys them about them being discontinued soon, he'll probably be devastated lol

I’ve worked at a grocery store for over a year and a half now and I sell cigarettes fairly often, but there is a few types I’ve literally never sold. The same box of Marlboro Southern Cuts has been sitting since before I started, and will probably remain sitting until after I quit.
EDIT: 4/8/2024. I went back today and that same pack is still sitting there. I can tell because the box was sort of crumpled on the top corner and I could see a film of dust on the top, pretty much exactly what it looked like when I first saw it.

I never worked at a gas station but I worked at a dollar store and customers were such cunts to me all the time especially the people buying cigs they would get mad at me because I didn't instantly know where they were or I would misunderstand them but sometimes polite people like Jacob would come through and it would make me happy simply because they weren't dicks about it. It was so nice to see him be so kind to the workers.
I honestly don't understand why people feel the need to be rude to anybody else in all honesty, especially when buying cigarettes. Doesn't make any sense to me. Everyone's got their own circumstances and headspace afterall.
I worked at a gas station and thankfully never had a particularly bad experience with anyone, but the customers were always very specific with what they wanted, which made it easy. Sad to hear others can't be as considerate :/

17 for two packets AND a monster?? I don't smoke but I live in australia and I know our cigarette prices are WACK compaired to that.. I did some conversions and roughly a 20pack would be 16USD on its OWN, 25 pack roughly 20USD, 30 pack roughly 26USD.. a whole 50 pack will set you back 36-37USD. (fyi it's due to huge taxes, trying to price people away from them/put money into healthcare from my understanding)
A pack of Marlboro( Advance, Gold, Red) costs around 320TK ( 3.20 dollars) In my country Bangladesh. I Thought cigerrate is costly in my country but now I know It's actually way cheaper 😃
