- Microsoft creates an Apple vs. Samsung wedding fight for its new Windows Phone ad.
Microsoft has tried a number of ways to advertise Windows Phone handsets, but the latest pits two rivals against each other. In a new minute long spot that's due to air on US national TV, a wedding reception is interrupted by Apple and Samsung fans. "Would you mind moving your enormous phone," asks one iPhone 5 user, before the guests - a clear 50 / 50 split of iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy users -begin to trade insults. One member searches for "one tricky pony" using Siri, while another fires back "aren't you a little young to have an iPhone?"

This commercial was good for a few laughs, I admit. Still, Nokia and Microsoft don't offer anything to pull me away from the Note 3. One of the biggest laughs was the Apple lady calling *Samsung* a 1-trick pony! lol... Apple's had the same phone for 4 years now and almost the same OS!

What about the new OS X? What about Swift, the Retina MacBook Pro, the Mac Pro, and the iPhone 5S?
These are all excellent products (okay, Swift is a programming language, but its really great) and the most people like it.
The iPhone 5S for example has a costumer satisfaction rate of over 95%.
Does Samsung get these high ratings. Before you search: No.
Even if I have to admit Final Cut Pro X was not that great, but I like it.
Leon Krug sorry dude but Android has already beaten Apple already. Just face it, to you iPhone is like the best phone ever, but haven't you seen a lot more Android fans on the internet than Apple fans? This is the list that made Android succeed:
1) You can choose how you want your phone to look like.
2) We get the apps first if Apple had it too. (Most of the time)
3) Widgets
4)Lots of phones to choose from, one that actually suits you.
5) Water Proof phones. Some are water resistant, a big difference
6)Better multitasking
7) Phones by big companies like: Sony, Samsung, Oppo, Motorola, ect.
8) Add more ram
9)You have freedom to do whatever you want with your phone, and before you say something about getting some malware you could always get Clean Master app that can boost and delete junk that you don't need to make your phone faster, and also included safe browsing.
10) Lots of apps and game to choose from, android also supports beta testing on apps.
Also android has already beaten apple with those commercials that make iPhones look bad. Samsung may not get high ratings but that's not the only Android phone out there
Yeah I know that Android phones sell way more than iOS Devices but also in the lower price segments were apple isn´t even selling their phones. I totally respect Android, but what I hate is, when one company makes fun of a competing company. That is not fair, and totally pointless. And in my opinion it´s not about selling the most stuff, it´s about selling the best stuff. And for me the best are products from apple because everything is working with each other perfectly and simple.
What maybe is a bit unclear, is that I don´t like Samsung, because of these iPhone "commercials". I respect Android, what I can say about that, is that the Software is not for me. I personally don´t like it.
So Oppo, Sony, OnePlus, HTC and so on are good companies, and I´m interested in their Android Products, even if I don't have plans to buy one of those.
I don´t have anything against Google/Android. I have something against companies that think they can make fun of other companies, because they think it´s funny. And thats Samsung and Microsoft.
So now to your arguments.
1) okay, not important for me, I just want it to work.
2) I don´t know if thats true, but even if its true, I´ve got time ;-)
3) okay, I get Widgets pretty soon as well, already have them on my Mac
4) okay, that is better on Android, an iOS Version of the HTC One M8, Oppo Find 7 would be awesome^^
5) okay, not a big point for me (that is only a bigger hype, like 3D in TV´s some years ago)
6) okay, I´m satisfied with the one on iOS
7) One big Company: Better Integration of Hardware and Software
8) not needed (for me)

10) I don´t play games, and all Apps that I need are already installed.
