- The partbreaker strategy is a very good option to break Risen Shagaru's horn with the first TCS, it's not a perfect run but the dunk topple with kunai is funny.

No bomb abuse makes this look much better than other runs.
To be honest, you really dont have much time for any bomb setup with this monster anyway.
He doesn't have a lot of down time (and some of the knockdown are super short too)
I still have a hard time finishing him with a hammer (not really my main weapon) because of how relentless he is.
No shame in using tools

Sadly, flinch free (or the new skill that I dont remember the name) doesnt prevent the small bomb knockback :(
Watching greatsword hunts as an IG player is always amazing to me. I'm spending so much time dodging, flying and evading to not get absolutely blasted. Meanwhile you guys just walk up, face tank a bomb and counterattack with a nuke. Amazing

@Ten_Thousand_Locusts you can counter a small bomb with strongarm when the monster is unable to attack like when its asleep downed etc

@@Ten_Thousand_Locusts It's a dick measuring contest. If you use bombs, that's fine. If you breeze through it like this person without relying on items much, it shows off their pure skill.
I don't really see what's wrong with using bombs. monHun World Greatsword player here,and I use everything i could in my disposal. Environmental traps,bombs,poison plants,its hunting. But people treat fighting monsters like dancing and sportsmanship like its esports.

You mean the thing where he parries an attack and immediately goes into a True Charge Slash? That's a silkbind called Strongarm Stance, and I believe its unlocked when you hit Master Rank 4.

Aris is useing the Amatsu Greatsword in this run, the layered weapon is the Scorned Magnamalo Greatsword .
Lol, these speed runners make it look so good and easy, but when you go do it yourself, wirebug still on cooldown, monster clapping your soft cheeks and finally finish the fight with 22min🥲

You need to be charging and then use Strongarm stance to get a TCS
If you use steongarm stance normally it'll give you a charge slash
