One more thing I would like to add into this is the habit of using the technique of paraphrasing to clarify if you've understood things properly.
After getting the desired answer from your senior, always, ALWAYS, try and paraphrase what they have said back to them and ask if the way you've understood the concept/idea/solution, is actually right. This gives them the chance to slightly adjust the way you have structured and persisted the answer into our brain.
And maybe to cap if off even ask if there's anything else they would like to add or if they have any other noteworthy points they would like you to do further research on.
