hey loving the video series so far! I was hoping to know where you got the 3mm bearings from for the clsd? Im about to order everything I need to do the swap on my rds but I cant seem to find the bearings anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!

I bought mine online. Just searched for the size and unsealed bearing and found it available online. They were unfortunetly expensive per pair, I bout 10 and sold them at the store.

Did you ever end up changing the front knuckles on the RDS? I saw someone else install the ReveD RDX knuckles & they seemed to work well? I’m not able to get quite the angle I’d like currently.
    Cheers

We haven’t had a need yet as the stock had plenty of adjustability for our desired setup but we may play with a set in the coming months to see if we can continue dialing in our redcat

I recently installed the yd2 adjustable kingpin knuckles on my RDS, loving the swap so far. Car feels smoother imo but that could just be placebo lol. Definitely looks better that's for sure. If you want to use those knuckles as well you have to purchase 1mm axle shims for both sides or the wheels will have side to side play. If you reuse the stock ball studs you have to shorten the threads on the top and bottom ones or they will interfere with the knuckle install. Happy sliding :)

@@ScaleScience Thank You very much for the reply! I'm really enjoying the RDS series! Are there any companies currently offering an aftermarket chassis for the RDS? Cheers

So, what’s left on it that’s Redcat? Transmission case & gears?

All of the steering, front bulkhead, knuckles, steering servo arm, all stock ball cups and balls except for dampers, stock transmission (except rhino dif) and stock rear tower.
The replaced parts are the plastic deck, battery tray, suspension (we changed our damper bodies out for red color, not because lack of performance) and lower arms. Put good electronics in it and finesse the ball cups and alignment into free movement and less toe out. Rear lower arm swap allowed us to move the arm further forward on the pin and the car makes insane grip.
