I took a walk in the Summer Palace this morning and recorded this video. The Summer Palace is an imperial garden during the Qing Dynasty in China, modeled after the West Lake in Hangzhou. In Beijing, the northern city of China, you can also experience the feeling of southern Jiangnan gardens.

Chinese builder back in the summer palace days, seem to be maters at showing strength, delicately in the details.

Surprised it was not crowded! Did you go at sunset time?
Unfortunately, the British and French burned the original Summer Palace and looted most of the treasures. Then Cixi rebuilt it but, it was burned again. This restoration was built by the Chinese government, I think in the 1950’s.
Can you show which metro station to exit to summer palace?
To take the subway, you can get off at Exit C of Beigongmen Subway Station. I hope this late reply can still be of help to you.

There is no rubbish and the people are well disciplined because if they do anything else and step out of line They disappear. So they learn to be good citizens from Young children's age and have respect for their surroundings.
I do appreciate the video but I don't understand why you walked past so many structures without explaining what they were and only focused on the cats. I can see a cat anytime, but videos like this of the Summer Palace are rare. That said, thank you, the images are amazing.
