I wish I had seen this video prior to my visit in Venice a few months ago. I was so lost around Venice, It took me 4 hours I could not find my way back to the hotel. I had to call my guide for help. When Sergio recounted in the interview that he designed the masks for Eyes Wide Shut I wasn't surprised, when you stopped in front of Sergio's shop window and I saw those masks I immediately thought of the movie. @@ProWalks Not yet. I usually keep watching the places I had visited earlier. Also the reason I keep revisiting this video is because I can see the places from the top of the tower, to get a birds view and its truly magnificent.

We’ve been to Venice last week on a day tour and I could say that our time was not enough to tour the whole city of Venice. We were just confined along the surrounding areas of St Marks Square. Our tour was short but memorable because of the precious gondola ride. If ever I got the chance to visit Venice again, I will definitely follow your walking tour. After the unforgettable tour on the Grand Canal, this walk was all wonderful. As I am very observant I saw the hunchback from afar and the second time I saw it more closely but from the side, which I could not see perfectly, but I saw a little, maybe because it is not a large sculpture you forgot to show us. Anyway the tour was magnificent, thank you and until the next time, good weekend.
This walk and part 2 are wonderful. It's the very kind I look forward to with the markets and mask maker. It's small stuff like that that sets it apart from the others. Keep up the good work!!!! I can't wait to go back.

Hey, it's free but you have to book online first for a specific time slot. It's on the rooftop of that shopping mall right next door. I think you can go up there and sign up on their iPad kiosk.
I have been to the Museo Correr! It's a smaller library/archive you access by going through those doors you filmed, to the right and up a few floors. It's mainly frequented by researching academics, and the librarians/archivists there are really lovely!

Hi Karina, I know Google Maps has "your timeline". For refrence I have a S22, It will be located in the top right of the search bar. It will have the option to select "Your Timeline". It will show you the path you traveled and the stops you made. Hope it helps.

I don't think they have traditional basements. Their bottom floor is water where they store their boat. Their "ground" flood probably does flood.
