57 is obviously the ideal number of workers, which is why he couldn't move out. Just managed to get to 57 workers (15:15) for like 2 seconds before the zerg hits that sharp muta timing at 11 minutes. After that it's just an uphill battle trying to macro up while the zerg all-ins off of 14 bases.
Went in just expecting it to be a Silver player not realizing he's a Silver player, but this is so far beyond that it's incredible. It would make way more sense if the replay was sent in by FuzzyWuzzy as proof that widow mines (or Mules, or Thors, or Terran) were imba.

with players like that you can legitimately win on 3 base vs 12 bases or whatever, just hold on and make a maxxed out mech army and a move. Zerg will lose every bane on a thor and lings to hellbats, they'll use all their bank on 120 lings and some banes which will suffer the same fate of being meatgrinded and then have no larva and win lol. This reminded me of my own silver days before I decided that I was going to learn a few things about getting better. So many Terrans play like this guy and I had no idea how to break them so I would just take the map. It takes a long time to win that way.
yep :D there were no mines back then, but i assume my old 3/3 broodlords strat would still work: just add more broodlords faster than his vikings can possibly kill them.
This was the kind of attrition warfare that destroys the soul of the defender. "More drones than god, 20k minerals banked, and one simple plan: to make ling/bane. They'll GG from emotional damage eventually."
Or, he never learned how to change passwords (some sites you have to type in the password exactly the same twice, and I'm guessing he improvised, just like his 'build order'), so every time he changed his password, the only way he could do that was create a new account. I've done tech support for customers like that.
Hamster's additions were amazing. I also loved how at the end the Zerg has more money than they can spend and nearly every base on the map but spends their money on almost nothing but zerglings, one of the most larva inefficient units possible. They could have literally spammed ultras and brood lords and just walked in and won, but instead they stuck with zerglings against mines and firebats. Truly, one of the most *silver* games I've seen in a long time!

The editor of these videos is just the best, whatever you're paying them isn't nearly enough. Love your videos Harstem, good luck in tournaments this year.
57 is the max apm allowed in the game, combining both players apm. Terran I though was gonna go for a push instead decided to drop 2 units per medevac instead of 4 no idea why (maybe likes the number), then decided to keep all his army home( for safety purposes ofc) and only send a drop of units that won’t fight air vs mutas, then the Zerg decided not to make any more mutas cause Terran asked politely and I ended up thinking at minute 18:00 how in god’s name will this game last till the 40 minutes of the video…surprise!!! Enjoy
I'm always surprised and impressed by how league-specific Harstem is with advice/coaching. He's not going to criticize a silver player dropping 10 seconds too late or forgetting an upgrade.
@@Gil-Galad Yeah, he actually focuses on things you need to improve to do well in that league. Those things absolutely don't matter in silver, it matters if you build your units and use them well very generally lol
It is probably his 57th account. But what an insane game though. I think FuzzyWuzzy was aiming for a resources lost record without having his opponent suspect this.
I'm so disappointed that Harstem missed the micro at 21:30 to 22 minutes or so, where the terran protagonist meticulously lined up all his hellbats at the choke point by individually moving them
LMAO this is sooooo funnnnny!!!! they both keep doing the same thing over and over, wave after waves. one guy is constantly rewalling, the other is constantly sending ling bane XD
20 minutes into the episode I was sure that we're getting 2 complaint forms in one video, because there was no way it will actually take 20 more minutes.
wave 17 , not bad, he should try to activate "the all units avariable option" thats more interesting for this arcade, you get that option by typing "its not a good day to troll" in chat at the start of the game.
I have not played much SC2. I have played the first two campaigns, and I was in bronze league back in Wings of Liberty. And even I can tell that if FuzzyWazzy had used his huge bank to max out on roaches rather than maxing out on ling/bane for the fourteenth time, he would've steamrolled into the base and killed everything that didn't fly. It is likely not the best way to go, but it's something that even I can figure out. However, it seems they became afraid of transitioning at all after losing a couple mutas to mines. "No, I reached this army comp at 7 minutes, better stick to it for another 20." Also, you spent so much energy (heh) lamenting the lack of orbital, and then you didn't see the armada of supply depot hats raining down from the sky.
How often do you see a casual 20k+ mineral bank? With mass zergling massacres? truly a treat to see. I would have loved to see a mass Ultralisk run-in, and see Thors killed by friendly widow-mines :D
FuzzyWazzi was the litteral definition throwing his minerals away to solves his problem !!! he had so much money , its like he had a custom pool built for his big boat in order to fit his smaller boat into the pool !! then a landing pad to land his Helicopter into the smaller boat !!!
"the pressure you have here is like the pressure you can have at a family reunion". Well captain, it depends of the family ! If you go that way with mine, it's the same pressure you can have in a Serral vs Maru 50 min game
I can imagine the same bronze zerg using this game to show how terran is imba because it was 15 bases vs barely 3 and terran was holding on with turtling mech lol. They are both playing a campaign mission, the zerg has to mine out 50k minerals and terran has to defend main base for 30 minutes Also the push at 31:07 being 100% able to win the game if he played it out a tiny bit better is hilarious and totally would support the zerg's IMBA claim lmao
😊I actually had a TvZ I should've lost that went like this. The difference being I was able to secure a 3rd base and max out on Thor/Hellbat/tank and push out and kill like 6 of the 8 bases on the push before the zerg raged and gg'd
we used to play a game called bullet with a hacky sack ,, one person "serves" or starts then you have to kick it 2x before sending it to someone else as a strike, failure to catch and resend the hackysack ment you were out .. that brought back some memories great content as always good sir

Studmuffi out here reenacting a fanatical WWII holdout, but FuzzyWazzi was more into WWI tactics.
Enjoy
00:51 IMBA stamp jumpscare
I haven't watched this yet, but I cannot WAIT to see how absolutely brutal Harstem is against StudMuffi, a SILVER player.
As a French I can confirm that we don't work, we dress up and go out only to buy baguette.
The montage gets better with each épisode as well, hamster you're amazing!
Thank you Kevin for making me laugh on my birthday no less. I needed it. Good job to you too hamster
Happy Birthday!
A cooperative game where you keep it up as long as possible.
57 is clearly the amount of months it took him to reach Silver league.
Or the number of times he uninstalled Starcraft 2.
It is probably his 57th account. But what an insane game though. I think FuzzyWuzzy was aiming for a resources lost record without having his opponent suspect this.
I'm so disappointed that Harstem missed the micro at 21:30 to 22 minutes or so, where the terran protagonist meticulously lined up all his hellbats at the choke point by individually moving them
You actually got me at 30:10 and I facepalmed because I wasn't paying attention for a second...
LMAO this is sooooo funnnnny!!!! they both keep doing the same thing over and over, wave after waves. one guy is constantly rewalling, the other is constantly sending ling bane XD
I love the amount of detail that you put into this video, nice work!
Starcraft pros: the pinnacle of RTS. Silver league: the pinnacle of comedy.
"What if I miss one and people will make fun of me?" Too late captain, too late...
20 minutes into the episode I was sure that we're getting 2 complaint forms in one video, because there was no way it will actually take 20 more minutes.
Editing felt like I was stuck in a time loop...
Mom, can we have siege of cask?
No, there is siege of cask at home.
At home:
wave 17 , not bad, he should try to activate "the all units avariable option" thats more interesting for this arcade, you get that option by typing "its not a good day to troll" in chat at the start of the game.
"i miss dressing up as other people and talking to myself"
same.
Stuffy is a sentient bottle of Heinz 57 ketchup that is learning starcraft. It is actually kind of inspiring
Hamster, your editing is incredible. Harstem, as somewhat of a frenchman i'll take your banter when you learn to count to 13 ;)
I have not played much SC2. "No, I reached this army comp at 7 minutes, better stick to it for another 20."
Also, you spent so much energy (heh) lamenting the lack of orbital, and then you didn't see the armada of supply depot hats raining down from the sky.
The editing on this video was absolutely delightful!!!
Harstem’s laugh at his own joke cracked me up
Typical -> Terranmove after getting blasted wave after wave... :> Spamming an insulting at the end of the game. could be me!!! :D
Solid stuff.
Hamster. Top notch visual for the names and map. Saw it for the first time and was very impressed.
I love Harstem's description of 'a yacht' 👍 it's just a crap house, it's on the water, it's way more expensive than a house of the same size
i would never play "counting with Harstem"... the guy is a genius
"the pressure you have here is like the pressure you can have at a family reunion".
Well captain, it depends of the family ! If you go that way with mine, it's the same pressure you can have in a Serral vs Maru 50 min game
Bro lit him up at the end haha. This might be my favorite series for SC2
This has to be a record for saving money. FuzzyWazzi has dreams of becoming a banker.
He might be the single reason for inflation ^^
the editing is top tier. laughing my ass off over here
Lmao the best video so far, the editor is a god
Enough of a god that my GPU couldn't hold my power any longer and just blew up? Yeah, that must be it!
That sucks
Hamsters editing is absolutely God-Tier! It's always incredibly, but he's exceeded himself yet again!
57 is the poker hand he lost with - then had to send in this disgrace
Man, your videos are so well produced. Congratulations for your content!
I can imagine the same bronze zerg using this game to show how terran is imba because it was 15 bases vs barely 3 and terran was holding on with turtling mech lol. They are both playing a campaign mission, the zerg has to mine out 50k minerals and terran has to defend main base for 30 minutes
Also the push at 31:07 being 100% able to win the game if he played it out a tiny bit better is hilarious and totally would support the zerg's IMBA claim lmao
😊I actually had a TvZ I should've lost that went like this. The difference being I was able to secure a 3rd base and max out on Thor/Hellbat/tank and push out and kill like 6 of the 8 bases on the push before the zerg raged and gg'd
we used to play a game called bullet with a hacky sack ,, one person "serves" or starts then you have to kick it 2x before sending it to someone else as a strike, failure to catch and resend the hackysack ment you were out .. that brought back some memories
great content as always good sir
This was THE funniest game I've seen In a long time I'm literally crying 😂. PLEASE SILVER PLAYERS NEVER CHANGE
2:35 Thanks for the translation, Hamster. But it's a similar concept as the difference between when you "like" someone and when you "like like" someone.
So if you like like someone, you actually notice it?
@@hamster_designs Not necessarily. There was a girl I had a crush on growing up. In our sophomore year of high school (grade 10, around age 15), I noticed that she didn't have braces anymore. I asked her when she got them off. "7th grade." Apparently I was 3 years behind on noticing...
@@danielskrivan6921 Yikes... I think with that you rejected yourself ^^
Bruh, hamster knocking it out of the park with these edits.
Hamster is starting to grow too powerful with his own takes. By 2024 he might be hosting IODIS. Careful, captain.
Thanks for this great video Harstem and Hamster
Thanks also StudMuffi for posting it. Love to see lower (i.e. my) league games represented
The zerg has to change his name to zapp brannigan after this game he just sent WAVE AFTER WAVE OF HIS OWN MAN AT THE TERRAN ROBOTS until they finally reached their kill limit and shut down.....checkmate, Harstem show them the medal he's won.
The classic 12 base all in, my favorite!
