My guy, thanks for bringing nostalgia. This is exactly my first build on my first playthrough. My favorite katanas are the shorter ones, uchi and the blacksteel. Feels way more balance than the OP boss katanas. Regardless, thanks for the feels, my guy. I feel like the day I replay DS2 is coming. I should really finish my backlogs.
My Favoritre weapon in ds2 was Murakumo, unlike other games in series you can actually feel the weight of the sword, how powerful it really is, staggering enemies breaking their balance.

For the Alonne Sword you want to hit the enemies with the upper half of your blade so it can do more damage. That's why sometimes you see it does 500 damage and sometimes it does 1k. Really cool video tho looking forward to more builds :D
Have you ever used the grand lance? It's an absolute menace with the old Leo ring, just plows through everything and does some good poise damage to boot
Smtg interesting would be a fume knight set, wich would involve power stancing his two swords or smtg like this. Otherwise I love seeing notifications of your videos, always bring a smile on me 😁

I would say that I never liked Dark Souls 2 because I didn’t like how scuffed the movement and attacks were, but ever since I started seen your videos, I decided to give it a try again. Now I have completed the entire game by following your build videos, it was hard but I enjoyed playing it. It also didn’t help that I was on the champion’s covenant thinking it would give me more souls xd, but at least I’ve learned how to almost No hit all the bosses.

I gotta be honest I really really really want to love this game I see yaz play and have so much fun. However I have run into more f-u situations in this game than any other souls like and on top of that and my trying and recently succeeding in overcoming my myriad issues with this game on an almost core level to have a great deal of fun and accept this game for what it is. Unfortunately the game had one final f-u in the form of an endless credits screen I can’t get past now that ive beaten the game I can’t even get the achievement b’cuz they can’t even be bothered to make a decent credits roll that works! honestly I just want to say thanks if you read this, and thank you Yaz for really being the driving force behind giving this game a chance!:) I just wish that even the credits didn’t have to leave a bad taste in my mouth. :(

Washing pole is actually a weapon wielded by Kojiro Sasaki, the enemy of Musashi Miyamoto, a real historical samurai. There's quite a lot of games and movies about those two. And there's a fictional novel based on them too. Now I'm just not sure if the Washing pole sword historical or is based on that novel

Tryed this weapon recently, and holy shit, its slaps. Especially powerstancing with double sepukku, it lasts like 5 seconds so you have to be hyper aggressive why it's active. Aslo it's pretty good to powerstance with spear
Oh yeah the first pvp build i ever did in ds2 was powerstance katanas , the blacksteel on left hand and the invisible one(forgot the name) on the right hand to be able to use her strong atack wich pierce shields, 2015 good times
