Toonsquid: My First Project

- This work is a mesh of the last few years. A little history:
I wrote and recorded the narration and sound design in 2022 and since had been experimenting with some hit and miss animations regarding it. Nothing suited it.
In 2024, I was teaching myself ToonSquid and with no plan I just started drawing to this recording and something developed over months with never having the work as a priority.
Goes to show if you just work bit by bit, long term, something will manifest. It's not perfect; in fact, I kept the mess up's in because my aim right now is learning the skills. Honing comes after. I hope you like it-or hate it-if it evokes something, then I'm happy.
Also, if you are of the 90’s, The Maxx is a late-stage vibe inspiration, I hope my homage is clear ;) All those weird, late night cartoons I feasted on growing up really stuck in my brain, they have such a distinct quality to them that I hope I can push further in future works.

It was definitely easier to just do frame by frame--now I am getting into more complicated layering and stuff, and the learning curve is definitely present haha. Will definitely do a video of my experience, thanks for the suggestion! Overall, I find it more intuitive than Dreams, but more complex in some areas.
