This album along with Faces by Mac Miller and Jimi Hendrix's discog, defined my post-high school years from 2014-2017. Great music, great friends, great moments, and LSD. What a time.
You think its scary but it captures the song perfectly that bad people have the fun good people want but they cant have it because its too scary to the good people. However if your a bad person your not bothered by it. In a sense there is nothing better about being bad threw the eyes of bad people. It just looks like fun to the good people but unknown they are truly afraid.
Bad and good is usually quite subjective. I often find drug use and more extreme debauchery to be "sad" rather than bad. If you are sad, are you having fun? ever? Probably not, but then again one has to ask the question "what is sad?" and "what is happy?" That's when we get into defining affect and emotion. Is existence nothing more than a chemical reaction? Does it matter if it is or is not? I personally believe the only thing that matters is that you are alive. At least insofar as you can breath and think. And if you are contented in the cherishing of that, then you are probably having fun.

I just made myself watch entire video twice. The lyrics are flawless. The glowing hoods (entire video filmed in night vision) and fat head-banger are awesome. The lyrics are what pulls me in though.
This album truly is a masterpiece I have worn out the vinyl. Their newer more pop stuff definitely produced some hit singles that blew them up to where they deserve to be but evil friends is just incredible front to back. Rarely do I enjoy both the A side and B side of a record but this album delivers the heat on both. 11/10 one of my favorite albums of all time heavily recommend listening to it fully
Huge fan of Portugal. Seen them live 6 times. Love the first three albums. Hated this when I first heard it. Listened to it like 10 more times, and its addictingly good. If this takes over for at least one FUN play a day on the radio, then I will be happy that they made it.

This album truly is a masterpiece I have worn out the vinyl. Their newer more pop stuff definitely produced some hit singles that blew them up to where they deserve to be but evil friends is just incredible front to back. Rarely do I enjoy both the A side and B side of a record but this album delivers the heat on both. 11/10 one of my favorite albums of all time heavily recommend listening to it fully

Huge fan of Portugal. Seen them live 6 times. Love the first three albums. Hated this when I first heard it. Listened to it like 10 more times, and its addictingly good. If this takes over for at least one FUN play a day on the radio, then I will be happy that they made it.

What do you mean? I hope they reach a bigger audience!! When I found these guys a few years ago I showed them to everyone I came across and I still do. I hope they get huge because then a lot of people would know about them and they'd be making the money they deserve.
