I like South indian vegetarian snacks like dosa, idli, pongal, vadai, bajji not non vegetarian ones. Okay.. Biriyani once in a while.
I also like panic puri, dahi poor,, aloo Tikki, parathas, samosa from north India and momos from N.E.India.
Whatever it is , it should be authentic. I hated idlis in North India and pani pooris in South India. Vendor is more important than the dish itself.
Korbin is like that 10 year old kid who doesn't know when the joke stops being funny.

Well, South Indian food mainly consist of Rice 🍚 and North Indian of Wheat 🌾 My personal thoughts as a North Indian that, South Indian food items are very Lite and easy in stomach, best for breakfast and on contrary North food is heavy and rich 😋 End of the day you go anywhere in India you'll get the taste supremacy at it's best. ❤
South Indian food is also very heavy. My stomach always gets upset after eating dosa sambhar or bada sambhar and north indian foods are also light food depends on what you eat😂
Funny how North Indian dishes never fill the stomach for me. I always end up with dosa or rice. They are lite plus fiil the tummy.
If your stomach "always" gets upset after eating dosa, I'm not sure which thallu vandi you are eating from lol. And if you're eating a non-existing dish called "bada sambhar", no wonder your stomach gets upset!@@MrinalM.

Nope even if I eat potato chips 10 packets (obviously I can't have that much), that is, even if I eat more snacks, I don't feel the full satisfaction that my stomach is full. I still stay hungry. But that doesn't happen with South Indian food because they are high in fiber. Fiber adds bulk to the diet and promotes a feeling of fullness.@@01sandeeproy
As a North Indian i must say when it comes to variety of items available in the South is extensively more, I saw few Kerala videos of "Delhi Food Walk" channel and the number of dishes items used was just like wow.. non repeated. While our North street food is a circle it revolves around same Aloo, Chole, Maida, Besan and Chutneys or you have Indian versions of western dishes or North Indian version of South Indian dishes.
North Indian food has a lot more than paneer, chole, aloo, butter chicken, etc. But unfortunately, many of the indigenous dishes are not popularized.
Well, a stereotypical view of South Indian food would say it's only about idli, dosa, and biryani. But that's not the case is it? India has a vast variety of food, be it North, South, East, or West.

My mother makes better biriyani than muslim biriyani. More tasty, less masala and even the muslim maid who joined few years back loves it.

I am from north India and even i like south indian food. But what the hell is the title of the video that you guys are reacting to. 😂 What does he mean by "destroys north indian food"? 😂 This is not a war. Taste is a subjective thing. Different people like different kind of taste. So you can't exactly tell that which food is best since it differs from person to person. Also i like south indian food because many of their popular dishes are tangy, spicy and light whether it's idli, dosa, uttapam, or medu vada. I usually don't like tangy flavour but i like that tangy flavor which comes from fermentation of rice and black lentils. But many people might also not like that. So basically what's the best food is going to be, differs from person to person.
Although I am not a south Indian but I prefer south indian food for breakfast. South Indian breakfast options I feel are way tastier and also quite healthy

Just don't start a war by asking amateur questions as to which is the best biriyani in Chennai. You guys should talk to Irfan, from IrfansView, who was in the beginning of the video. He is a foodie and a TH-camr. I don't know him personally. But, he'll take you around the city for some interesting food trails. ❤

in every food items like samosa,vadapav ,pannipoori,or masala poori,katchori,even in gravy they use but in southindian use all masala for different taste and our most of the foods soft and easy digestion

Exactly my thought..m from north..I lov South Indian..but my husband loves north..so..we eat both..but I also do think lot of North Indian food are underrated bcz of few popular north dishes which I crave.. they r yummy only we go north..may be bcz of water..even dal in Rajasthan taste better than when we cook elsewhere…
