👍🏼 I have the Essentials that you showed first and I’m very happy with it. It was really cheap at Walmart. Bought it I think for $55 about 2 months ago South Texas.

We had an old B60 Keurig Special Edition as a wedding present (2011). Descale light never came on, we didn't know to descale it, and I'm sure there was mold. We threw it away and a few months later got a K Classic. It's about 6 years old. Were I to replace, I would definitely want something with the 6oz button. K cups are generally watered down at a 10 oz setting, and the "golden ratio" of grounds to water means the 6 oz will produce a better coffee for most people. It is disappointing that many of these models have gone away from the 6 oz button.
We do use both a Keurig and a drip maker, but I don't want a Duo and recommend against it. Sure it saves counter space, but if/when one side goes out, you would need to replace the entire maker. If my Cuisinart dies, I replace it alone, not my drip and my single serve.
I'd probably recommend or go for one of the following: K-Express Essentials, K Compact, or K Select. The K Select is slimmer than my Classic and has a bold button. Dad mentioned that the Compact is a fairly reliable machine. Even though I'd rather not have the entire internal tank heat up (more possibility for mold), he's said that the newer models are a bit more prone to breaking down and having issues. I think The reliability is really appealing.

You're welcome! The K elite is a very reliable coffee maker, if its still working fine, I would keep it. the new 5 needle Keurig's take a little getting used to and have some minor problems.

Just got my Keurig k cafe smart love it paid 200 on Amazon although on Keurigs website it's cheaper if you buy pods thru them for a year
Have you tested the K-Supreme plus SPECIAL EDITION (stainless steel) from Costco? It has 5 size & 5 temp or strength settings… I haven’t found anyone who’s tested and reviewed it yet. I hope you review it as I received it as a gift but haven’t opened it yet. Thank you!
I have the Elite now and we really like it but i wanna upgrade to the Duo so we can make a pot of coffee on weekends instead of wasting a bunch of pods between the 2 of us. Not interested in any of the frothers or wireless features.
The duo plus is a great machine.
which one from each category is the shortest? I have limited height for one.
Surprising they all are about the same height. right at 17 inches which should fit under a kitchen cabinet.

I really cant tell the difference in the strength of the coffees I think the pods are all filled with very weak coffee and so regardless of all the bells and whistles.....your coffee will only be as strong as what's in the pods.........I like my coffee to fill my larger cup so I hit the 12 oz and then after that I hit the 6 oz and I noticed that after the 12 oz is done its pretty much spent because when I hit 6 oz....it looks like just straight water coming out......
I have noticed that the Walmart Keurig machines are different from the Amazon or the Keurig site machines.
I have the one that lets you know when to descale does the light come on to let you know when to descale did yours let know my has not yet ty
well if it hasn't come on don't worry, you can also tell if it starts running different, like when brewing a cup of coffee, like I said you'll know. I use filtered water so in 6 years I've done it once.

Keurigs are pretty bad for the environment in a lot of respects, what with the capsules and the junky electronics. They also have a tendency to grow a LOT of mold inside so they're bad for your health too. What I'd recommend instead of a Keurig is getting a cheap single-cup pourover brewer (for $10 or so) and a decent grinder (starting at $50) and kettle (under $30). Then you have a $90 coffee setup that gives you delicious coffee that's way better for both you and for the planet, and doesn't lock you in to a single proprietary overpriced system.
Unfortunately Keurigs don't last very long because of the crappy internal parts.
How long you talking? I've had mine for 6 years and no problem. I did buy one of the better ones.

@@JustADad now I just have a coffee and espresso maker a DeLong. Next year I want to buy a gage espresso maker and a bean grinder. With this economy now I'm just hoping. Spelling is wrong hopefully you'll get it. I just l just love coffee I'm retired just finding new hobbies.
