I'm so sorry about what I'm going to say and I can't believe it either, I'm a huge fan of The Beach Boys and was at this concert, That guy singing Barbara Ann truly ruined the whole song with his voice and it was terrible and if Mike Love sang the song it would sound a whole lot better!! I love The Beach Boys and it was sad & his voice really ruined the song I love, I was all the way in the middle of the right side and it sounded like someone tasted some sour lemonade!!

I remember watching this live on CMT and after the Beach Boys went thru their 4 or 5 songs that everyone knew the words to, back in the booth, Brenda Lee and Alabama broke to commercial, I was thinking " who the heck has to follow that"? The answer- country singer John Conlee, who more than held his own considering who he followed- making me a John Conlee fan instantly.
