Many people wants Angelina to be accepted by young people and I think that they will, but she have to wait until they come to her. Young people are bombarded with negative message with music and they follow that "modern music" for various reasons, but not because they love art. Angelina is an artist and I hope that she never changes that approach.

. As usual Didy a great, and insightful reaction. I just have to make a comment about your implying that she NEEDS to get more coverage, and out there faster, or something to the effect of that. I know that in our Western culture when it comes to entertainment, and stardom, that we seem to assume that the meteoric rise in fame, and fortune, is the most positive thing that could happen to a striving artists. But in Angelina's case I take exception to the idea that it is what she NEEDS because just like her gift, and her art, she is very unique, and different. It is my opinion that she does not need to be thrust into the absolute brilliance of the limelight, and fame because she is just 16 years old. Her family, whether by divine intuition, or just good wisdom, have brought her along in her career up to this point just about perfectly. The thing about meteoric rises, is that meteors ultimately crash and burn. Look in the entertainment industry at how many young artists have been eating up, and spit out by the industry, or otherwise tainted by it. Angelina, with her talent, and guidance from her family, is already a millionaire moving nicely slow, and steady. So in that regard she is making a living on a very high standard, and does not need the distractions, and the extreme pull of the world on her right now at the age of 16. So I would disagree that she needs to be out there more, or that young people at this point in her life, and career, need to more aware of her to the point where they make her an immediate Superstar. It will happen in time with patience, and guidance which she needs right now at 16, and not to be blown up, and eaten up by the music industry, and the world. When Elvis is 'gold', than to me this rendition from Angelina is 'platinum'. I do like the original Elvis song, but this slower and 'easy listening' approach from Angelina is so much more in line with the lyrics.

I have listened to this performance probably 30 times now, through different reaction channels, and this is yet another performance by her that keeps growing on you by every listen. And it was already jawdroppingly beautiful at first listen. And she shows us quite a few new things with her voice as well. She is not finished developing as a vocalist, not by a long shot. Many people wants Angelina to be accepted by young people and I think that they will, but she have to wait until they come to her. Young people are bombarded with negative message with music and they follow that "modern music" for various reasons, but not because they love art. Angelina is an artist and I hope that she never changes that approach.
She's also paying homage to ELVIS. The guitar is actually one of his, leather suit he always played in his early years, priscilla's hairdo, and red suit on the piano because most if his band members wore red. I'm sure there's a lot more. The guy playing the piano is Rob Christie. They say this is her last cover song. She will be releasing her own record soon.

Hi Diddy, this is Angelina as I know and love her. She takes a big song and alters it according to her imagination. This time the original is almost unrecognizable. But her version is great. Really great. Angelina's version is somehow calmer and yet very emotional. Her other Elvis covers have always been at the top of my playlist.
These are songs made for her. Just change something or something more and it's her song. I quickly saw the video on Angelina's channel. I pressed the like button. It wasn't easy to see in your reaction. Understandable if it would otherwise be blocked.

Yes , many symbolisms. The hairstyle is what Priscilla Presley wore. The black leather outfit and the red guitar are a tribute to what Elvis wore on his comeback tour. The piano starts as Angelina is removing the dusty cover (dusting old songs). Her baby cousin represents the innocence that we are all born with. Her other cousin running around and looking up represents the curiosity and bewilderment of discovering new things. Her sister Juliette looking regal sitting on an antique chair represents the hope and the dreams of what of what and where she wants to be (The Queen of Music on her Throne). And then Angelina as a 16 years old looking like a rock star as if she is saying.: I arrived and I belong here with the best.
These are my interpretations. Regardless, Angelina in my eyes is and has been a Superstar for a very long time.

Grandma Mery is the executive producer, Angelina hairdo is representative of Pricilla Presley from Elvis's comeback tour in 68, the leather outfit is a nod to Elvis himself and the red guitar she is playing is that of the guitar he used in the comeback tour...all the little things that are important. The young children are her uncle Mike's children and the "older" girl is her younger sister Juliette...so much thought and detail went into this besides the superstar singing of Angelina.....and she will be a superstar...so much class and the light guitar playing just fit this perfectly...the details.. . As usual Didy a great, and insightful reaction. I just have to make a comment about your implying that she NEEDS to get more coverage, and out there faster, or something to the effect of that. I know that in our Western culture when it comes to entertainment, and stardom, that we seem to assume that the meteoric rise in fame, and fortune, is the most positive thing that could happen to a striving artists. But in Angelina's case I take exception to the idea that it is what she NEEDS because just like her gift, and her art, she is very unique, and different. It is my opinion that she does not need to be thrust into the absolute brilliance of the limelight, and fame because she is just 16 years old. Her family, whether by divine intuition, or just good wisdom, have brought her along in her career up to this point just about perfectly. The thing about meteoric rises, is that meteors ultimately crash and burn. Look in the entertainment industry at how many young artists have been eating up, and spit out by the industry, or otherwise tainted by it. Angelina, with her talent, and guidance from her family, is already a millionaire moving nicely slow, and steady. So in that regard she is making a living on a very high standard, and does not need the distractions, and the extreme pull of the world on her right now at the age of 16. So I would disagree that she needs to be out there more, or that young people at this point in her life, and career, need to more aware of her to the point where they make her an immediate Superstar. It will happen in time with patience, and guidance which she needs right now at 16, and not to be blown up, and eaten up by the music industry, and the world. Patience will give time for her maturity to catch up in a way that she will be equipped to deal with the world when it comes knocking. Once again a great reaction Didy.
