This speaker actually sounds pretty decent in it's Soundcore Signature default EQ. There are some Soundcore speakers that don't sound so good in default EQ, most recently the Soundcore Glow.
I got one from Amazon day of release. This one really wowed me, really a fantastic speaker straight out of the box... All i've done for mine is set the lowest eq band to 48hz and maxed it out, just to get as much deep bass as I can. It digs deep for its size!
I’m hearing Ldac from certain articles. But yet have to see Ldac option. Have you been able to access it ?
@@rctechtime No idea, I don't have any devices that support ldac.
I picked one of these up also and it sounds really good for its size. Tons of bass for how small it is

Hello, greetings... The standard Soundcore Boom 2 speaker. Does it distort the audio at full volume?
If you try and push too much bass it can get some distortion at max volume.

It's just physics too much bass for any speaker at higher volume will create distortion you have to pick a balanced volume like around 60 to 70 percent I don't recommend 100% volume for any speaker of any size@@juanfigueroa4305
Love the design, i bet its worth it more than the X600. (For 200$.) For 130$ im sure its well worth it. I cant wait to hear one.

If jbl wants to get with the program they should find a way to add tweeter to their charge 6 if it ever drops... crazy this thing for 130 would absolutely smoke the extreme 3 and 4..... needless to say I didn't order this due to havin ordered the x20... damn I'm excited to get that speaker showing it bein here Tues but def lookin fed to when ya get that one in Jay!!!!! Think this and the upcoming earfun uboom x will be Damm good speakers
The Charge 5 does have a tweeter, albeit only one. One tweeter and a woofer.
@JaysStraightUpReviews now just imagine if they could add 1 more tweeter then that speaker would be worth the 179

Yeah, they went with a larger woofer in the middle and two tweeters. I'm no speaker tech expert, but I would think that design would offer better bass capability over two smaller woofers. At any rate, they did a good job with this one. 😉

I just bought an xtreme 3 during Christmas I feel cheated lol the xtreme 4 and this come out already

Oh well the xtreme 3 is fine for what I need for it to do I just have an issue with wanting new stuff constantly. I’ve held back a lot on impulse buying.

I am quite frankly confused and shocked that Soundcore did not include an auxiliary port on this speaker. The Soundcore Glow, a smaller speaker, has one.
Yeah, not really sure why Soundcore is inconsistent with the 3.5mm jack in their speakers. For example, the X600 has a 3.5mm jack, but the X500 doesn't have one.
Yeah my biggest complaint and maybe my only real complaint about the motion boom is the lack of a 3.5 port. Those are convenient in a pinch if you need to connect them to a television with no latency. I use my w King speaker as a de facto sound bar. I noticed my mother has Roku TV doesn't support Bluetooth speakers besides roku's proprietary wireless, so connecting a speaker with a connector is really the only option.
80 w seems like a pretty spurious claim. Lol. I know manufacturers can get cute coming up with these numbers. If the original motion boom was 40 Watts I have a hard time believing this is 80 but I'm not a sound engineer
From the sound of it, I think 80w is probably pretty accurate. The Motion Boom was a bit smaller and had just 2 drivers. This Boom 2 has two tweeters and a larger woofer, so it would make sense that Soundcore upped the power and that large woofer is getting fed the power it needs to perform.

You know what I was going to do that video, but my Wildbox has developed a rattle in it and I rarely ever listen to it. I think I read someplace that some other people had run into similar issues with the Wildbox. Not sure their build quality is the greatest.
