love the overall flow of how this channel approaches their car reviews mr “pants sooo tight and leave nothing to the imagination” seems to get some flack in the comments section for how he talks or maybe trying too hard to emulate someone. but idk, it is refreshing to the ears to watch and hear car review channels like autodeal (caco?) and jaywalkur? and naturally this channel and mr tight AF pants appreciate the generally honest feedback as it has helped us in previous car purchase decision-makings and im sure i’ll check out future reviews for our future car upgrade considerations
Kind of a long tease pare, it's recommended you don't give too long a premiere based on algorithms. People don't like see videos on their watch later list for a week ahead of when it premiers, 1-2 days is considered ideal.
Its because the hybrid variant has a Atkinson cycle engine which makes it waay more fuel efficient + the hybrid system. ;) but a lot more torque on the low end, on uphills di ka mabibitin dun sa hybrid i must say, no need RPMS power agad at Zero RPM (engine)
We save around 5-7k worth of fuel at 5k KM a month, madalas kame bumyahe, i must say if you travel more than 3k KM or travel daily in traffic, get a hybrid, whatever model it is from toyota. 4-5 years palang bawi mo na ung 300k mo may bonus ka pang Pioneer sound system and moon roof ;)
Curious question, I'm searching for my first car. What would be a better daily 15Km (all highway) and a bit more in weekends? This one or the Xforce GLS? I'm seeing a lot of discount in the GLS which are usually cheaper than the yaris cross. Hoping for your response. Thank you
As someone who travels the highway daily as well (from the south) the XForce just edges out the N/A Yaris for me due to its steering/driving feel, but power and fuel economy wise, they're very close to each other - Ash
@ZigWheels Philippines This Yaris Cross is manufactured by Toyota and designed by Daihatsu. However, Yaris Cross does not have a Daihatsu-counterpart. Only the Raize, Rush, Avanza, Veloz, Wigo, and Liteace have Daihatsu-counterpart. Raize > Rocky Rush > Terios Liteace > Granmax Avanza and Veloz > Xenia Wigo/Agya > Ayla
hi guys planning to buy the Yaris Cross V or HEV by January next year as my first brandnew car. current car is 2014 toyota fortuner na pamana ng tatay ko. 😅 ask lang hindi kaya ako mabibitin sa 1.5L CVT na may output na 106HP lang? hindi kaya hirap sa overtaking yung ganitong sasakyan?
You’re right? This is definitely better than the hybrid but I think the based model of Yaris Cross is the best value for money. But If you want a hybrid, Corolla Cross based model is the best option especially that you only need to add a few bucks from this V variant.
Decisions decisions! Let's not forget that the Raize G is also there which to be honest, seems like an enticing option too! While I have qualms about the Raize Turbo with its 3 banger, the G is a smooth operator! Team norm-core for life! -Roy
This kind of guy is what makes me wait for Caco for a review. I feel compelled washing my face everytine I imagine splatter of spit coming out your mouth each time you say a word.
The geely coolray will smoke this yaris cross anyday of the week. The coolray has more features and higher specs at the same price point as this car. And geely has just opened its very huge parts depot warehouse in canlubang which now solves all the parts shortage concerns.

Nice review as always!

That was quite a long tease, wasn't it? I'll make sure the address that - Roy
The 2024 Yaris cross look so much better

5k a month is a lot of driving! Having a great sound system is definitely a bonus for that much seat time
hello do you have the driver door issue? planning on buying Yaris Cross this january.
which is which? lynk and co models or this?

@@AntiJEVsInPH pangit ba if Daihatsu? planning to buy pa naman sana january next year.
How can I learn that accent?

It actually feels okay at moderate overtaking but you will miss the torque of a diesel if that's your point of comparison!
At its asking price, I;d go for the base Mitsu XForce.
No
Hyundai creta nlang
That's an interesting take and a great point? What aspects of the XForce makes you lean more towards it? -Roy
Design of the Yaris Cross is a mix of Corolla Cross and Lexus LBX.
I might not see the LBX that well but I guess the JDM Yaris Cross surely is! - Roy

@ZigWheels Philippines Toyota Raize is the ‘mini-me RAV4’ while the Toyota Yaris Cross is the ‘mini-me Corolla Cross’.
And mash them all up with the Fortuner and you get the Zenix! - Roy
Dude, your jeans is a bit too tight, it's distracting me lol nice review though
There may be a bit of a muffin toppin sitch there, haha! Thanks for pointing thay out! - Roy

Wag mong paiyakin mga fanboy ng toyota😅
Andito na pala si geely marites
Still no results though. May mga issue pa din na nawawalan bigla ng power ang Coolray. Madami pa ding Lemon Cars from Geely tbh.
Dyusko nman ang resale value, luging lugi at pahirapan pang ibenta 😅 sayo na more features ng chinese car mo 😅
Might be true but chinese cars dont last 20 years😅
this or xforce ?
If comparing NA variants, then maybe the XForce edges out the Yaris due to being bigger overall!
