Great question, well, there are no guarantees with any technique or training. At the end of the day, we really don't know how they will react, so we have to prepare ourselves with our very best, high percentage technique and train it until it is embedded into our muscle memory. The gunman's heart will be beating rapidly as well, and will not necessarily be in the perfect state to handle unexpected interference with their plans, but again, maybe they trained for this their entire life. We can only do the best we can with the training that we do day in and day out.

If he was trained he wouldn't be a pussy using guns

I’ve attended an active shooter training held by FBI trainers and they said in active shooter situations have a plan.. even a bad plan is better than no plan. So even if the shooter is trained.. have any sort of plan.

From behind, would going for ura nage to make the situation grounded before disarming be a less or more safe option?

I am not trained in this, but I would assume disarming the assailant first would be the best option. Trying anything fancy adds unnecessary unpredictability. You want to know where that gun is pointed and be in control of its muzzle direction at all times. If you throw him around first, you might forfeit that control and allow the assailant to fire a round at you even from the ground.

We could ban guns? Or really restrict the acquisition after a background check of the owner and a safety class, like in Canada? We don't have shootouts every week here.

banning guns goes against our ammendment rights

@Derpa Flerpa I agree. Guns should not be banned there should just be more strict gun laws. Guns aren’t the problem the person behind the gun is a problem.

@@chrisconley5483 With guns being part of your culture it makes it easy to smuggle a few unnoticed, here we see something that looks closely like a gun and cops are called in 5 seconds, like I said we don't have shootouts every week, it works.

@@KingJack86 I'm anything but helpless and so is my country, we have guns to fight in wars, we just don't let every idiot own one just because it's their right, that's pretty irresponsible, how many brainless toddlers killed a family member in your country last year with a loaded gun he found? Here zero.
