    This is clever. Did you make the soft 8 by just tying some rope to some rings?

      Yep, used a double fisherman's knot to tie together a large and small ring

    How do you retreive soft8?So,how friction saver with cone?There is some risk to fall in stuck

    So what’s the point of this, just to avoid rope on rope friction on retrieval? Personally I like using a bowline with a backup knot or a running clover for my canopy anchor and then to retrieve I just climb up to it and switch to MRS to come down.

      This is a retrievable canopy anchor that retrieves easily even with a few redirects. Just an option that I use.

    So you don't climb on base ties anymore ?

      Yes, it's scenario dependent. I climb mostly with canopy anchors now though.
