I worked in maintenance ben need to listen to his right hand man it takes a large crew to handle a big property like this especially if you want it clean everyday thats two shift’s per day and trust me its even worse in the summer and holiday season and dont get me started on the interior because it gets to a point where this type of stuff is an art cleaning and maintenance looks simple but trust me theres a whole lot that goes into it that people dont know or realize its not enough to pick up a mop and broom its more to it than that

Vincent's default state of mind when Ben complains about something is that its direct criticism, so he takes it defensively because he feels the good work he does do isn't acknowledged enough, but in truth Ben is just making observation.
He Knows that both Vincent was out of commission and that a hurricane had just hit, so he's not blaming him at all for the state of things, he's just observing and commenting what needs to get done, which I'm sure Vincent is just as capable of doing if he were there alone, but because he has responsibility over the property he takes everything Ben says personally...

I’d have that place spotless with a couple garbage buckets for sticks etc and a backpack blower to clean everything easy peasy.
