      This is really helpful because while I collected around this era, I was only around 10 so I didn't follow the competitive scene. I appreciate this upload.

      Old comment thread I know. But definitely break out some more of these old skol decks. Many people enjoying seeing them. Guy’s like myself that have been playing since 99 and even the relatively new players that are curious about the old meta. Tons of good decks to show off. I’ve still got mine from 2008 I believe. A really good hand depletion deck that won many games. Worked very well and consistent at the time. Wasn’t inconsistent like many of the more modern control/deny/depletion decks. Anywho, I’d be glad to share the deck list if you guy’s have time to feature more of these old decks.

    Love the old school battles and Entei with the patrol dog makes too much sense to not become a thing.

    I wish there were more Yu-Gi-Oh channels like this.
    We barely have quality goat format content out there but this looks clean and professional lol

    Hey Andrew,
    I didn't notice it coming up at any point in the game, but you guys referred a couple of times to Meganium doubling the number of coins you can flip when discarding energy for Super Eggsplosion- but for future reference, Super Eggsplosion flips a coin for each Energy CARD, not each unit of energy.
    Thank you for being one of the only people putting out high quality old format content! Keep it up gang.

    Oh man this is amazing. My favorite 3 players all at once. This channel just gets better and better all the time. Looking forward to seeing how y’all do at Madison. Would be amazing to see a top 10 from all 3 and then of course pablo Mesa needs to be there too. That’s my top 4!!

    Where can I find the deck lists for these decks and others from the era? Trying to get back into the tcg and it would be extremely easy to do with nostalgic cards and content like this video.

    • @smileswithriles
      @smileswithriles 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      András Sévigny Jason Klaczynski has a blog where he has decks posted from base set all the way through the original ex formats, year by year! It’s really a great resource, and what we use as at least a starting point for many of the decks featured from that era.

      Riley Hulbert thanks so much, I just read through a bunch of them and hit up a few friends and will be building decks this week by unanimous decision, also recommended them this video/channel.
      Thanks for the answer and awesome content, best of luck with your guys future in this.

    After muk was knocked out you guys stopped flipping before attacks and you guys were counting grass energies as one instead of two.

    • @natalieshampay214
      @natalieshampay214 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You only flip for baby pokemon when they're active, and Riley was using the second attack which snipes on them.
