Thank you for the video! I just started a couple of weeks ago and it's hard to figure out what to do first in such a large game. And this is the first video I found that is actually talking about beginner experience without overwhelming with different systems. Thanks again!!

6:51 A frequently overlooked aspect (and one which you omitted...) is the necessity to train your mounts' stamina, concurrently with speed and carry capacity... Failure to do this will cause the length of time which your mount can "Sprint" to be inadequate... In other words, your mount will wear out and be unable to sprint for as long....
You can get any weapon very easily either by crafting or farming and no - staff counts as a two-hander, so can’t be paired with anything else on the same bar. You get 2 bars though, so you can still fight with both.
Thank you, this video is great! When this game was released I played for a few months and then quit until now, I wanna try again but I feel so clueless and lost... Is it worth getting into if I'm only a casual player? As I live on my own I work full time, do shores, cooking, shopping... All that stuff so it takes a lot of available game time away. I also love collecting mounts, pets, armor looks etc... which is what I do in WoW. Is there a lot to collect in ESO now? Or is it mostly paying for that stuff with money? Also: I love how passionate you sound about the game, really makes me want to get into it again 😊 I'm subbing!
I love this game, unfortunately i never managed to play for long. Joined guilds, built several characters, even got eso plus several times, but never had the luck of meeting someone willing to actually help a low level player, so always felt lonely and not knowing what to do or where to go. Watching this video gave me the will to give it one more go.
Thank you for your kind words! I’m sorry for your experience! We do have a Discord and a couple of guilds if you’re interested 😀 discord.com/invite/ninjapulls
Good question! Right now I think if you buy the base game you get ALL expansions up to and not including Necrom. But you won’t have dungeon DLCs or the extra classes (Warden, Necromancer and Arcanist). The ESO+ subscription is pretty good - you get unlimited storage and access to all DLC, but still no Necrom or extra classes. But then again, if you love being back in the game you can always add those later. Hope that helps!
I would also add, hop to high isle on the left side of the map and grab either Ember or Isabella companions, or both, then go back to your starting area.
I don’t have any companions, so I wouldn’t want to advise on something I’ve never tried. It’s also not necessary for game play, so didn’t make the cut 🤩
Thanks a lot for the guide! I am again giving this MMO a try. What do you recommend doing after the Council of the Five Companions quest? I was never crazy about the main quest personally, so leaving it unfinished as you suggested doesn't bother me.
Good question. If you're interested in quick XP and Skill Points, there isn't anything quite like the Main Quest. But Public Dungeon Group Events and story quests in small DLC zones (Clockwork City, Murkmire, Galen etc.) are another pretty efficient way to go. Hope that helps!
Agreed. There's some stuff coming in U39 tailored towards new players, but I've long suspected that many of the crazy myths and misconceptions about ESO's combat stems from the lack of guidance in the early game. Not easy to fix, but hey, that's part of what this channel is for! We'll keep trying! Thanks for the comment.
It's important to know... the Main quest line starts with the quest "Soulshriven in Coldharbour" and begins by talking to the hooded woman who approaches you automatically in one of the factions cities. After escaping Coldharbour, you get transported to the starter region of your chosen faction.
Hey hey! He just pops up. No need to look for him. Welcome to ESO. Consider joining our Discord, we’re always here, happy to help: discord.com/invite/ninjapulls
hmm idk what tutorial you're talking about, i started in jail and something with a prophet... it gave me no weapon and no clothing and i'm completely lost tbh....
They've added a bunch of shading and lighting upgrades over the years. Nothing major, but if you crank up the settings to maximum I think the game still looks very pretty for a 2014 release.
Another banger video!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it. 🤩
Excellent video, these other guides are like 1-3 hours long. Yours was quick and to the point!
Thank you!!! I always try and deliver the most important info as efficiently as possible! Glad it works!
I didn't realize the "cost" of changing my character's look would be irl money haha
Thanks for this! I just started playing, and it's quite overwhelming. You give a good sense of what it important and what isn't.
Glad I could help - welcome aboard!
You have the perfect voice for narration. You would sound cool reading the grocery list.
Thank you so much! My voice was a bit tired the day I recorded, so I was worried it wouldn’t come out that well. Much appreciate your feedback! 🤩
Yup thats where the big bucks are at!
It appears you’d be the type to fall in love with your AI girlfriends voice
@ my wife of 28 years read your message and told me to tell you to stop projecting.
Thank you. I started yesterday and this was a very helpful point in the right direction.
Wonderful to hear! Glad it was helpful.

Glad it helped!
Been watching eso videos for years. you touched on some uber important points that ive yet to see in any other video ive watched. Ver nice .
Thank you very much! Really appreciate the comments 🤩
The Last time I played this game was back in 2017. I just came back today (28Sept2023). Thanks for this video, it really helped me out.

As a new player of ESO I found this video really useful. Thank you!
What adding do you use for the UI?
Thank you! Glad you liked it. It’s a few addons I use and I have a handy list on our Discord: discord.com/invite/ninjapulls
Wow! A beginner who found the Beginner’s Guide really useful!
Amazing! Maybe try math or science, you know, something useful
What's the easiest way to get a katana in ESO? and can you dual wield a katana and a magic staff?
You can get any weapon very easily either by crafting or farming and no - staff counts as a two-hander, so can’t be paired with anything else on the same bar. You get 2 bars though, so you can still fight with both.
Love this guide so much, I also joined the discord
Awesome!!! Thank yuh so much 😍

Me and my brrother was condering picking up ESO and haven't played since release. What expansions and sub model do we need?

@@NinjaPulls True but it does make things a lot easier once you have one. Isobel makes a very nice tank.

Good stuff, makes me kind of wish that the new player experience was a bit more guided.

@@NinjaPullshi! Did this update come out that you were speaking about? I’m a brand new player and want the best experience
@@kevinj834Hey there! Update 39 is coming on August 21st for PC. September 5th for consoles. Hope that helps!
@@NinjaPulls thank you! And great vid btw😄

Not anymore. Now it starts directly in Cold Harbour again.
Thank you Maya
You’re welcome @GentlemanGrey! 🤩
really new to this but is there a specific place to run into the hooded guy

2:24 I didn’t notice the last 2 weapons 🥴
hmm idk what tutorial you're talking about, i started in jail and something with a prophet... it gave me no weapon and no clothing and i'm completely lost tbh....
The ingame tutorial has been updated recently. We will be updating this video shortly to reflect the changes.
Just good and quick.
Thanks!!! 🤩
4:34 plus At lvl 10 you get a horse 🐴
I think I got that 30% mount speed just from running a Battleground, which is pvp also, so maybe no need to go to Cyrodil.
It’s also about the skill points you get for ranking up in Cyro that are nice, but ultimately - whatever works for you 🤩
@@NinjaPulls I see what you mean now, totally.
Wow great video
Glad you liked it! 🤩
Do you have a guild for xbox series x players?
Sadly only PC atm.
Hi. I think they changed so that you can get a speed buf from lvl 5 now... so not so easy to get now
If you’re talking Cyrodiil and Continuous Attack, then no nothing has changed. You’re still good!
Is your guild on Xbox ?
PC NA/EU.
@@NinjaPulls :(
My wife and I are new! Do you still play?
Yes! My husband and I still run the Ninja Pulls guild and Discord, and still play all the time!
What is the that area in the video?
Which area?
The one in the video
Voice sounds like a movie trailer
Haha! Thanks 😝
My voice was a bit tired when I recorded, so was worried it might end up sounding a bit rubbish. Much appreciate your feedback! 🤩
Ahaha khajits are so funny looking
I just wish eso remaster the 2014 style combat and graphics… make it more innovative

oh damn! I thought you would say Uninstall and consider playing something other than Crown Store Online
Lmao. That would've been profoundly based
