EW SiB vintage is a solid sipper. It doesn't drink too thin & is better than most 90 proofers imo. The 2015 batch is 9yr aged based on the label but some say it's not accurate. Sure is better than the 2014, 7yr. bottling though. It's a pass for 40 bucks but worth a shot around 30 or low 30s range.
If there was a table with that much Blanton’s and Taylor on it in MY area, it would be bought up within the hour. What I’d do to see so many EH Taylor’s…though I’d prefer the single barrel personally
Great videos. But can you start showing prices in your videos. It is fun grabbing things at retail or close to it. Example, that Woodford 121 is only 136.99 in Louisville. Just comparing prices lol
Hey Major I find that Evan Single Barrel is pretty nice for 86 proof, Not sure how the CC 12 year taste I have not opened mine yet., Natalie's sure carries several Bottle of it ,, I would take 1897 O/F or a mixer of 1910 and 1920 to the derby, By the way I love that allocated table ... Thanks
Way ahead of you on the EW single barrel! That has dropped already here and I picked up two bottles. I also lucked into some Brown-Forman black top Early Times Bonded. I'm drinking it right now watching this video. Absolutely delicious! It's just a good solid bourbon with a classic bourbon flavor profile. It's not trying to be anything fancy, just a damn good sipping bourbon! Hey I saw that Redbreast 12 year cask strength, Jameson 18 and Glenfiddich 14!
Well, if you want to take something from TN "Back Home" to KY, get a Blue Note uncut. being distilled at Green River. Also, that Traverse is from Traverse City, but MGP. That Copper and Cask pick is MPG aged in Kentucky, hence the M(K).
Seems like Natalie's regularly gets that michter's barrel strength rye that I'm after. Just can't find it in Nashville, so sounds like I need to time a trip down to be in line with these application drops Thanks for the info and may your mint juleps flow like wine. Hahaha

That Woodford 121.2 is probably the best bourbon I've had all year. Well worth the splurge if anyone is on the fence in my opinion.
It is a little a bottle for a lot of money but tempting
I passed on it at $149 as those are hit and miss each year. Didn't want to spend that on a "maybe" bottle.
@chucknorris5141 I totally respect that
It’s good stuff. I grabbed a bottle a couple of weeks ago. Picked up a Stagg Jr yesterday to go with it.
@adamr9215 which Stagg Jr?

We almost never see the single barrel
I’ve lived in Louisville all of my 53 years of life and hav3 never heard it not called “The Derby”
Funny! Yeah I was there and heard it called it the derby a lot
The Redwood Empire Rocket top is fantastic.
Not had the rocket top. Is it a minty rye
I'd give the Larceny A124 a go. Good price and decent proof.

If you can find makers 46 cask strength (tall bottle) it’s a must. Has won several blinds for me
I need to get some pours
Makers Mark cask strength, Russell’s single barrel, or copper and cask would be good choices.
I have had very little of the Maker's Mark and none of the Cooper and Cask. I need to step it up
