Great video! always interesting to see what is available in other parts of the country. I saw my unicorn bottle at least 3 times, 10:53, 10:55 and 29:19. I'd even take an empty bottle for my collection. I look at 7 stores. I never see Blanton's and it took me 2 years to get a Eagle Rare 10 year. Even Weller CYPB is allocated and only in the State lottery draw with 33 total bottles vs. over 100,000 entries.

Most mom and pops are bourbon museums. They don't get many allocated bottles and don't care if it takes more than a year to sell them.

That high west on the table is DELICIOUS. Had a store pick of that and it's like drinking delicious chocolate cream

Found the Frey Ranch Straight Bourbon yesterday - just delivered here in West Michigan. Very underwhelming. Paid $55, and it must be that high to offset the cost of the cool bottle. It'll have to be relegated for mixing. I'll go back to it in a bit to see if it opens up with time. So cool that random guy shared his bottle with you guys!

Did something Similar with some 4 Roses small batch. Let it sit with a whole madigascar vannila bean for about 3 months before i fat washed it in some peanut butter. Was a after dinner dessert pour. Kinda like a peanut butter cookie liqueur. Very good stuff.

Making me sad that you keep going to stores with the bottles I'm chasing. I know they'll all be gone before I next make it down that way (Christmas). I'm always looking for the Bombergers releases. It's one of my favorite annual bottles and they vary pretty heavily but usually they have the best butterscotch note of any American whiskey.

Super lucky this year. I landed a RR15 through a new relationship at a shop. BUT THEN, I won a 2nd bottle in a free entry of a raffle! Finally have a couple days off this weekend and I am dying to crack one of em open! I sampled it last week and it is AMAZING!!! If you haven't gotten to try it, I'll send ya or swap ya a sample if ya like? And I heard the same, in the next month another Weller drop (107 and FP) is coming. We'll see. Happy Hunting, cheers!
