- In this episode of the Prospect Spotlight series, our scouts take a half-hour deep dive into the game of a dynamic winger who brings his fair share of intensity, refined habits, and intelligence: Teddy Stiga! First, they introduce the player with his profile, statistical production, and his trifecta of puck skills: shooting, passing, and handling. Next, they shift their attention to his habits, tools, and toolkit, discussing why he is falling down rankings, including their own. This kids a stud, I honestly would take him with the Ducks pick at 29 if we are lucky to have him fall that far.

I would like to see a show on the Top 5 (or 10) Draft Prospect Comparables. As a casual fan it really helped when someone tells me a prospect is a lot like Nicholas Ehlers. I can immediately process that info.
Player comparisons are always tough, because each DY player has their own styles and idiosyncrasies that aren't mirrored by NHLers, and player comps often fuel unfair expectations for players; which is why we use them really carefully. But we'll think about it! You certainly make a good point in their value in helping NHL-only fans get a sense for draft-eligible players
I would compare him to Brandon Hagel
After reading, watching, and listening to things about Stiga. I wouldn’t be shocked if the Wings choose him. Like Danielson and Kasper, he seems like a yzerman off the board pick. And I’d love it if they choose Stiga
