Not sure what the exact parameters are for this patch (didn't download it to see), but we adopted a similar approach for one of our musicians on the team. Getting great sounds on the AC30TB amp through the Greenback loaded cab, and the R121 Ribbon for the mic emulation. We were about to give up on finding a good light first stage drive until we found the boost comp. Just rolled off the comp until it was barely compressed and it sounds great for light overdrive. The screamer is the perfect step up for mid boosted lead sounds or more "rocking" worship songs. Got about 90% close to the Do What You Want To rhythm guitar intro.
From my previous comment about it working on the original HD500, IT DOES WORK! All you have to do is download the file and convert the file from .5xe to .h5e by editing the file name on your computer and then before connecting your hd500 open new patch and take out the octave pedal (I switched it for a vetta wah because I use that more anyways) and it will accept the dsp limit for your original hd500.
Is there any way you could share the patch you changed to work on the HD500? I tried the above instructions but can't get it to work, can't even find the Octave pedal when I download the patch to the editing program.
t took me a while but I have switched my rig to an HD500x with an always on dirt pedal in front. I felt like it really thickened up the tone. I would love to bring a tube amp every week to church but with two guitars, pedalboard and whatever else I need to bring, an all in one solution is just more convenient. As a worship leader and a guitarists I have found worshipartistry.com to be a Godsend. Thanks for the video and for the patch, the site is fantastic too.
Would like to get the sounds without the static hum. Example when he pressed the boost with the tube screamer @2:04 time. I get the way it's supposed to sound but that hum always drives me nuts. Makes me think there's a loose ground wire somewhere😵💫
worshipartistry I just bought an HD500x, so thanks for the videos. Hoping to join the worship team rotation this year. One of our electric guitarists was asking if I had a POG, which I don't. But I'm suggesting he look into swell/ambient/pad stuff which he should be able to do on his XT live.
The closest thing to a pog on the HD is the whammy pedal (It's called a pitch slide on the HD). If he wants to check out the Earthquaker Organizer. I actually like it better than the pog and it's significantly cheaper. I did a review so check our video channel of it.
What is a Worship Artistry? I'm interested in this. What kind of worship is it? Is it like a...religion thing...or is it just about the music and the gear? I'm curious.
modcraft13 - good question. As someone who's played both clubs and churches, I'll say yes. It's rock-based, but people typically aim for lots of simplistic sound with lots of ambience. (Think U2 and Coldplay.) I do my own thing personally, but lots of people in worship arts go for that ambient sound.
I have a HD500 but I am totally lost when it comes to using it. When you say that you've assigned this to this pedal, etc. I have to idea how you are doing that. So what happens is I just use the settings in the HD500. Which means I know nothing about changing what tones I want. Can someone help me with a step by step of how to do this. Line 6 manuals are huge. Downloaded them all but they tell me nothing about how to set this up. I didn't know you could use the lower pedals. I thought those moved you through the different banks. I am completely lost.
hey one noob question here!! how can you combine FS5 -FS8 foot switch? i just downloaded your patch and eveytime i hit FS6 or FS7 it changes to another FX patch?im so confused, because u are able to combine FS1-FS8.. please please help me!!!
+patwikwin There is a setting on the board that changes that. I actually don't remember what how to do it but a quick google helped me find it the first time.
Hey! Just picked up the POD HD500X and downloaded the patch. Just playing over headphones right now, but most of the sound is coming from the left side with mostly dry and quiet coming out of the right. Any quick "Oh, it must be this" ideas? Other presets are full L/R. Thanks!!
how do save separate effects in a patch? also how many effects can u use in a patch. I have a big setup already for worship but I want it to be bigger.
Moving from an X3 Live to HD500x. Downloaded this patch to my new 500x but can't seem to get the volume pedal to work without taking one of the footswitch positions. Any help is appreciated!
Edward Schrank You've probably got the expression pedal set to the wrong setting i.e. exp1 instead of 2 or the other way round. Pressing hard on the toe end of the pedal should change this and the lights to the left of the pedal should change as well (green to red or vice versa). Hope this helps 😀
I did figure this out.. you have to set the expression pedal to control the amp volume, right on the amp. The patch doesn't seem to load this correctly, but I have it working now.
Sandy Figueroa Yes, you can. Connect your POD to the amp through the Unbalanced Out (The one with L Mono and R). If you want to connect to the mixer, you have your balanced out
Ezekiel Bagay Thank you, man! One more question: what is the difference between the balanced and unbalanced stuff? I have heard the Xlr are best for long distance cabling. And that the 1/4 L sums up to mono the signal. How is that? Do I get stereo with the L 1/4 plug?
Sandy Figueroa th-cam.com/video/BQtMFsw_3Hg/w-d-xo.html Here's a good explanation to balanced and unbalanced. But to make it simple, balanced is stereo and also louder. Unbalanced is mono
Its a matter of taste really. Depends on your personal playing style and what you as an individual are looking for. The Helix has more bells and whistles but to MY ears the HD has more organic verbs and amp simulation. Others may believe the Helix does. To me the HD is easier to operate. If you are a worship guitarist you will know who I'm talking about here, Jody from the Newsboys uses the HD500X straight to the board for his stage rig! Good enough for the biggest act in contemporary Christian music at the moment then that says alot!
worshipartistry I really love your site been very helpful a lot of the times.... I just sold my tube amp and not sure if I should go with another tube amp or go multi effects what do you think???
Stephen Whitney If you want to go the cheaper route I would say get yourself an HD500 (which usually run for around $500) and run direct to the house via xlr (That is what I do and I use this patch that they made with minor tweaks and it sounds just as good as some of the other guys in the rotation at my church with $2000+ setups), but if you already have a good pedal board with everything you need then I would get another tube amp to complete it (I have been extremely impressed with Morgan Amps, although they are a bit pricey, or the Vox AC30 British Made amplifier. Those usually run no less than about $1200, the Morgan however will most likely run you into the $2000 range but they are, at least in my opinion, that much more worth the money. Hope this helps! P.S. Just on a side note about the patch if you decide to go the cheaper route, it seems to work really well with my guitar (a schecter c1 classic) which has a Seymour Duncan JB 59 Humbucker in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Jazz Humbucker in the neck. My guitar also has coil splitting in it. So if you use something like a strat with single coils predominantly you may have to tweak a few things for you to get the most out of it (it also could depend on your house setup wherever you play that determines what you need to tweak.
Hey, I found when I edit this patches effects on the software and then try it, the volume pedal doesn't seem to work anymore, especially when I try to do the volume swells. Is there a way to fix this? I'd like to adjust effects without affecting the volume pedal.

Hello i cant find the patch can anyone help me how to find and download it?
Would like to get the sounds without the static hum. Example when he pressed the boost with the tube screamer @2:04 time. I get the way it's supposed to sound but that hum always drives me nuts. Makes me think there's a loose ground wire somewhere😵💫
you have to go on your amp and turn the hum down on the amp
You should do a video on a Line 6 Firehawk Fx
Small world Jason. I'm a sound volunteer at NorthLake Community in Bellingham ! Randy
Randy Petty I just played a wedding at Northlake!

I'm having trouble with the patch . I have downloaded it and applied it to my hd500x but I can not separate them . The way you have
Hello, What did you assign your volume pedal to? I have no idea how to assign volume pedal to do what you are doing in the video! pls help!!
What is a Worship Artistry? I'm interested in this. What kind of worship is it? Is it like a...religion thing...or is it just about the music and the gear? I'm curious.
We make high quality tutorials to teach musicians Christian congregational worship songs (songs you would sing in church).
+worshipartistry Oh OK. Thanks much!
Is "worship" a specific kind of sound? Sounds like rock guitar to me.

Hello my friend, can you finally use your pod?

Victor Minetola could be panned to the left or a loose connection in your jack
I just downloaded the patch. For whatever reason the amp is split in two, so just take out the other amp placement. Hold down enter and press left
Thanks so much for your reply. I started messing around and found that as well!
Sweet! Glad you figured it out.
do you have these patches but for the POD500
how do save separate effects in a patch? also how many effects can u use in a patch. I have a big setup already for worship but I want it to be bigger.
Hey man I'm having the same issue how did you figure it out
Is this direct into the soundboard/pa or into an amp?

what kind of tele is that?
+michelle fudot It's a parts caster with a SD Jerry Donahue bridge, strat in the middle and SD mini bucker in the bridge.
may we know what song do you play in 4:15?thank you in advance!!
christopher tapit it's a very worship progression. Heard happy day, today is the day ?
What song is it that you play at 4:15? Or is it something you came up with? Sounds awesome.

Nah, you still get mono haha. Mono is good enough if you're going to connect it to the amp
Helix or Podhd500x which one is better
Helix by far

will this work on the original hd500 or is the dsp limit too much?
To be honest I don't really know. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!
worshipartistry It worked beautifully!!! Thanks a bunch for the patch!! I am definitely gonna have a great time using this with my church!!
Nice!
