Hi sir, I wanted to ask if I should go for must have accessories (sump guard, screen coated, etc) for speed 400 or go for after market. Because prices are really high in triumph..
@@vinaypardhi3065 based on my experience with after market stuff, since last 10 years on various motorcycles, they are not well designed and mostly half baked products... Now I firmly believe that the manufacturer of the motorcycle knows the best when it comes to accessories for that motorcycle

@@muralidharth183 Nothing at all an issue, there is a negligible buzz 90-110 many wouldn't even notice, atleast I didn't & best part is it doesn't stop you from pushing the bike future, I am able to cruise on this 120-140 smoothly all day depending on road conditions... Speed certainly doesn't disappoint.

@@muralidharth183 HD 400 is more of a low and midrange cruiser, which definitely can cruise 90 to 100 at best, post which it runs out of steam, however Speed 400 will take the game a notch higher and you will be able to cruise 120+ all day.

@@umeshwajjala DNA has a seperate cleaning kit which is needed once in 10k km. There are videos available on TH-cam on the cleaning and oiling procedure.

Hello, a fellow Speed 400 owner here. The hyper rider tyre hugger that you are using, is it interfering in anyway with the chain slack adjustment? Is it mounted without disturbing the swingarm area or did you have to add additional components to mount it? Kindly give more info if you can! I also have the same CR risers, Givi top box, OEM lower bars, aluminium sump and quad lock!
Hyperrider tyre hugger is nothing but KTM Duke 390's hugger inversed and installed with the help of the plates that the hyperrider created. Since the setup of the hugger is upside down of what KTM has, the chain position is automatically taken care of.
I just know went for test ride, both Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400x. Im 5.8 ft height. I was only tip toed on Scrambler, for which the ground clearance was very high for me. Speed 400 was very easy to ride and handle, to my height, I feel Speed is more comfortable.
As per my knowledge I don't think so that installing folk covers is a good idea... Cuz for obvious reason it will interrupt in the travel of the suspension and in a very harsh braking that might effect i believe...
