Welcome back to Ireland! Safe travels. Married a Kerryman in Chicago 27 years ago and and after each vacation 'back home' to visit with his family we felt that tug...so once the nest was empty and retired we grabbed our own piece of Ireland and are loving it!!
Ah YAY!! Love hearing stories like this! There's no place like it, is there?? Kerry is so beautiful. I think we'll be travelling around there a bit soon 😍
Hi Cori. Richard your driving instructor here. Good to see you are all safe and well, I am now settled full time in Vanlife, A Winnebago Via 25Q no less! so fully understand that the plan can change, although I'm still envious of your Mann Van. Im now holed up in Surrey for the winter, eager for spring to arrive and festival season to be upon us and feel that I'm finally chasing one of my own dreams. Now with internet I will have plenty of time to catch up on your adventure. Wishing you all a calm ferry crossing but I think that might be optimistic! 🤓
Richard, hello!! Great to hear from you! Love that you've settled into full time vanlife now. And in a winnebago, nice! Yeah I bet you're itching for spring and that dream life feeling, not long now. Yeah the calm ferry crossing was definitely an optimistic wish 😖😂
Best of luck! Looking forward to your Irish adventure. I am lucky enough to be living my dream life on an island on the west coast of Ireland with plenty of challenges lol.
Thank you!! Oh I bet it is wild and beautiful and can imagine it is challenging, but guessing the challenges are totally worth it? There's something so enchanting about the idea of island life, I totally get your dream! Love that you're living it!!
We all cling to something outmoded in our life just a fraction too long. It takes time for our mind to catch up that what was just right is now not,and a change is due. If you will be vloggng establishing yr little farm ill enjoy that. I try to limit my TH-cam + all my social media such as it is.
You're so right, it's easy to cling on a fraction too long! Yes indeed we'll be vlogging our adventures as newbie farmer/homesteaders and all that settling into our new life entails. Yeah I'm the same - I try to be very intentional about what content I consume too 😍
You've probably arrived by now....the positive news is that finally the deluge has stopped (for now) and the next couple of weeks is mostly dry but c-c-c-c-cold :)
Yes we have and saw more rainbows on our first day than we could keep count of! If that's not a sign, I don't know what is 😍 Fortunately the van is quick and easy to keep cosy and warm so we're not minding the cold so far
@@CoriLivestheDreamLife Actually you're right, there's been a lot of rainbows for the last week. At least you can wrap as well for the cold...I'm sure you brought the sunshine back with you 😉
i learned the hard way.come home forget the freedom lost and get on with life.until one is ready again.if ever .i dislike campervan vlogers.you did make sense and a little bit of the reality.its not always fun.try living off a motorcycle fpr 3 months sleeping wild for a real tiring journey.no video taken.it was my trip.good luck@@CoriLivestheDreamLife
